I loved your makeup chat! I can’t relate to some of what you said but I can say that in middle/high school, I also covered myself up because I didn’t think I was “pretty enough” and I also have always been thin so people used to say that I was anorexic even though I wasn’t. Those comments made it easier to wear baggy clothes and hide myself. I’m a senior in college now and I have expanded my wardrobe and my makeup looks. I feel more comfortable now than I ever did before and I am enjoying my “feminine era” too!
Omg super relate to what you felt about being feminine and masculine! I am super tall (5’11/180) and when I was a teenager I was on the chubby side. I didn’t feel comfortable being feminine at all and I’ve really grown into myself in university ❤❤❤ thank you for sharing. It’s great to hear how normal these feelings are.

You’re totally right, i was in my face of been a Tom boy. Thinking that been a little masculine and tuff will be my shield of my own insecurities not being to “pretty” enough like other girls. I guess know seeing allot from you’re content since the beginning make me feel more loved 🥰. Know I do enjoy wearing dresses and makeup (still working on it). I relate to you so much it’s not even funny😭🥴I was a tomboy. I have a lot of male cousins and so I grew up playing with them all the time. There was a point in my life where I just hated anything girly or feminine but I’ve come to accept them and also love fact that these things actually make me feel good and I embrace that. I do my nails like all the time, which is something past me would’ve never done but now I love it😭I’ve recently started getting into wearing short skirts and experimenting with makeup a lot more and honestly it feels so good. Ngl though I do still have some tomboy tendencies but that’s not a bad thing right🤷🏽♀️
