Randy, your smile @ 13:17 summarises what is hunting trips all about. Not everyone can live and appreciate that moment and its feelings (happiness) except passionated hunters. Keep up the good work. Greets from Libya
We are blessed to get watch you hunt randy. Thank you for all that you do. I appreciate the videos you put out. It was joy to see the smile on your face explaining how blessed you really are.
You get around pretty good for an old guy with a bad liver. Thank you for all the conservation work you do! You are a good example of what all hunters should be.
I feel a lot of gratitude when an animal gives it life so I can eat. Glad to hear you appreciate that moment of thanks. Seems the least I can do for that animal.
Brother Randy you hit the nail on the head. I Just finished my 2019 Colorado Mule deer hunt . because of conditions I took a really nice big body forked horn with one inch eye gaurds. will be great eating. but the blessing in the hunt was hunting with my wife. Beautiful country . Thank you God bless you and just know I pray for you and your health (liver). Keep up the great work as long as you can brother.
That's a great 3pt Randy, love the time length as well as the length between the points. And we all know how you love a BIG 3 point mule deer. CONGRATULATIONS, and THANK YOU for sharing.
Hello Randy, thanks again for taking us along on another nice hunt. The great state of Montana is a beautiful place, she can be hard at times, yet beautiful. I sure hope you get to feeling better. I know it no fun having aliments that hinder you at times. Wishing you the best. Take care.
Pretty sure Bart was on the first video of yours I ever saw about hunting black bear. Inspired me to come out west for my first hunt ever this year! Keep up the good videos.
Absolutely beautiful and serene setting for your hunt. It's been 30 years since I lived in northwest Montana, (Noxon/Heron area), not a day goes by that I don't miss that country! Great country, great friend, great hunt! What more could you ask for, than to be able to share memories with a friend? Congrats on your buck!
God bless you Randy. Really. You have a good heart, and a great hunting ethic. Would be a dream come true to hunt with you. You make the best hunting shows put there. You are the man.
Wonderful video Randy. I really enjoy the format of your hunting videos, but more importantly, I appreciate the fact that it is not "edited" to death, (i.e. Just kill shots and shameless product plugs). I think I watch more for the conversations between you and whomever you are with. It shows what really goes on, what is said, heard, and seen. The fellowship between hunting partners is paramount. And you always have such poignant remarks towards the conclusion, that resonates with me. You show reverence and appreciation, and keep it simple. Cheers.
You could have said it any better it's a great country and we are blessed with freedom to hunt . Happy birthday that was a great present you got. Hope you feel better on next hunt Randy take care.
That's really great! You guys treat the game with the respect it deserves, unlike some of the other "hunting" youtubers! Hunting public land is a great System in my view, more countries in the world should do something like that! Greetings from Germany
Randy, spent my 60th birthday driving across Montana to reach Baker for my first Montana deer and pronghorn hunt. Only my second time hunting Montana. I agree, the success is not just the harvest but the time with great friends and the enjoyment of the outdoors. I was fortunate to tag a pronghorn that I scored just under 81" the day before your harvest. Been hunting 46 years, my first pronghorn hunt! Beginners luck! My partner and I both shot beautiful mule deer bucks to complete our journey. Montana is awesome, actually my birth state. Definitely the coldest darn hunt I have been on! I love your video's, you keep it real. Best wishes for you and your family, have happy holidays.
Beautiful buck, I love the way you don’t get crazy and start hooting and hollering like some people do. Lots of respect for the deer and your humility is classy. Thanks from a Navajo Hunter. The way we skin and gut a deer is different from the way you guys do it. But that buck looks fat. Mmmmmm
Glad I got to see the hunt Randy! I had been waiting ever since you posted pictures on instagram! Congrats again, and I look forward to many more of your videos.
mile marker 54 !!?? and I was prepping myself for being called 'uncle' by you Randy ! Now I feel better thank you ever so much...………even if its by one year , ha ! ……………….keep those top notch vids coming sir , heck , with the severe heat & drought here currently , it's refreshing watching snow & crisp footage for a change ! Good hunting , all the best there guys .
Way to go trudging through that snow! An inspiration to all of us! We trudged through feet od anow 1st season Elk in Colorado, and it is good to know other people are just as crazy about hunting! Hard to find people willing to work that hard for a deer or Elk.
Happy belated birthday! Now you are older than me again so I can say, "If Randy can still be hunting at his age then I can too!" I really enjoy the hunts whether they are one day or 10, still awesome to watch. Nice harvest, can't wait to see what's next!
Randy I will be 53 in June of 2020. I can sure tell it also. You get up them mountains good for your age. I never been but your videos make me want to go. Mostly flat except river bottoms. Super flat compared to what you hunt. Thin air also. I am not sure I wouldn’t pass out.
Jesus dying on the cross for our sin, is the greater blessing. You are a blessed man. I would love to hunt as much as you. I am living vicariously through you. Keep videos coming. I love them!
Nice quick hunt! Nothing wrong with that! I'm right behind you Randy (age), and I'm in better shape now than in my 20-30's. As the old saying, age is just a number. Keep plugging along and take care of that liver!
What a short Nd brief hunt Randy always your hunts re spectacular Nd so awesome wether you kills smthing or NT I just like checking them at all times, thy wz a very deep snow Nd looking s beautiful
What’s really cool Is that I shot my first ever bull elk with my dad on November 9 and with out your videos for inspiration then I don’t think I’ve would have been able to have done that thank you randy
Absolutely love your show. I hunt extensively in Alberta and hunt in similar country and style. I appreciate your enjoyment of the process, not just the result. Might have to get me a Montana Double Date sometime! lol
Hey Randy, I'm going to give you 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 10 thumbs up. Great hunt and thanks for sharing this with us. I got to thinking, your camera man had to have walked many more steps than you or Bart because of all the different angles he shot. KUDOS to you cameraman. You deserve a shout out too. Very nice Buck. Wishing you well and hopefully you get your health back Randy. Stan
@@Fresh_TracksWell now, I wouldn't say his job is harder, after all, he's probably 10 -15 years younger than you. Not saying you're old, now how do I get out of this predicament? I'm 73, in the video you were saying you were going to be 55 on Monday. Every step you take, I'd have to take 3 or 4 so, you have the advantage over me. Just saying, youth has it's benefits. I'd better back out of here, this hole is getting deeper. Thanks again for sharing another great video. Stan
Randy, this past Saturday was the first day of Pennsylvania's doe season. My sister and I both were able to harvest a doe. As I pulled up with my Grandpa's tractor and trailer to pick up her doe, my Dad and sister both looked at me and said, "Where is Marcus the Llama?" Haha. Keep up the great videos, hope to make it out west soon and hunt some Muley's.
Randy, I hope you get to feeling better.. That was a an awesome day hunt.. He was neat looking buck, he kinda had a rain deer thing going on the way he curves on his forks..
Awesome you made the trip to USA. I have been watching and following your channel since episode 10. Glad you're still putting great content and tips to us rookie shooters. Was it a nice deer
Daaaang, those mountains look good with some snow on them. The climbing doesn't look easy, but the juice is definitely worth the squeeze when you make it to the top and turn around to survey your public land.
Good grief, watching your videos like this one highlight how out of shape I am. That looked like a tough climb and through deep snow too. Beautiful country.
Marcus the Public Lands Llama and his pal Marshall, nothing like having those furry and fun costars along with you as well as a good friend and neighbor in Bart. Nothing wrong with a one day hunt in pretty much your back yard that is what most people do here in the east is hunt their property, a friend or family member's property, maybe a local WLMA. Congrats on a early birthday buck for you Randy, definitely a super solid 3 point or 6 pointer for us back east.
@@Fresh_Tracks absolutely I did and you are welcome. Heck I recently got home and am 40 minutes into the hour and 46 minute Hunt Talk Live stream with Mathew and Marcus that you all recently posted. (even though it is from before Thanksgiving, still a great watch and discussion)
"Montana Double Date!" that 's awesome! Been there, done that. Great hunt fellas!

Randy, you said it. "I'm so lucky to have that chance." That's it in a nutshell. You guys earned it walking up that snow covered mountain.
I am the luckiest man I know.

Thanks for another humble and realistic hunting film, Mr. Newberg. And thanks especially for filming cool stuff right in our backyard.
Great to see Bart again!
There is nothing wrong with a one day hunt. Good job. Nice buck.
Im 39 today. I count my year by the number of years I have left to hunt in the mountains. You give me great hope for many more years. :) keep it up.
Lots more years ahead of you.
Bart & your mulie sliding down the mt side🤣🤣🤣 thanks for adding the caiber & bullet you used😎👍👍👍

It’s not much better than having good friends to hunt with. It is a great blessing
Great video and good to see Bart again. Imagine a Randy/Bart/Beau episode. Powerhouse trio right there
Awesome video, can't wait to get some Caras now that the wife is on board. Thanks to you and Beau for showing everyone more about what they can do.

Randy reminds me of my Grandpaw so much, his mannerisms and all are identical, sure do miss that old fella, but good hunt guys!
I suspect your Grandpa was a bit more above average than I am. I'm well below the norm. Thanks for watching.
It's not always about a crazy big trophy. Making memories with friends and family is what it's all about. Awesome deer and video. Congrats.

Amazing improv with the tracking Pole to get a sturdy position for the shot..
Very impressed Randy.
As Theodore Roosevelt would say, "Do the best you can, with what you have, where you're at."
Those llamas do a beautiful job!! Great idea!
They make old guys like me very happy.
Way to go trudging through that snow! An inspiration to all of us! We trudged through feet od anow 1st season Elk in Colorado, and it is good to know other people are just as crazy about hunting! Hard to find people willing to work that hard for a deer or Elk.
