You know, I was scared that not many people would still remember Elliott Smith, but I am very happy to be wrong. Your voice is so beautiful and is a perfect fit for his work.
He wasn't very popular until about 2-3 years ago. I remember listening to him in my early 20's and hardly anyone had heard of him back in 2014/2015. It's nice to see more people realizing how great he was.
tbh, elliot smith is the average college girl's favorite "underground musician" but he is revered like the beatles basically. there hasn't been a point where he hasn't been quite famous. I would argue he is more famous than jeff buckley despite not getting as much press.
Loved the cool fingerpicking intro like he used to do with some songs live. Amazing cover, it sounds easy because of the open tuning but there are some really weird chords.
bang on - this performance is as understated as it is really incredible. if you have the means, download the audio, compress it and raise the total gain to a normal listening level. i really think this girl has a rare genius talent and singing proficiency, something like joni mitchell potential.

Only few of his songs are easy, this one I'd say is moderately difficult but you played it effortlessly. Your voice is very soothing. Gorgeous sound. Coming from a musician, you got my thumbs up. It says a lot that after a whole year of trying to practice and learn to sing just to play Elliot Smith songs, I can find people who blow me out of the water and make a mockery of me trying to learn......and it still just makes me happy :') You're so talented.
