I'm 15 and from England. for the majority of my life up until this point, i have been heavily against religion and extremely unjust towards all religions. it is recently however where I have discovered self-improvement and a part of that has led me to feel a spiritual and higher power, purpose, and reason for living. I am currently agnostic and between the thin line between Buddhism and Islam. I have started to read the Quran and learning about the faith. I will say little due to my current lack of knowledge but Buddhism has come upon me due to my lack of belief in a deity or god. however, Islam is also convincing me with Allah and the Quran. I plan on reading the Tripitaka and I love listening to mufti menk speak so thank you for opening my mind mashallah

Thank you for including us but I don't think buddhism exceed beyond the supernatural or the unseen it's a philosophy a pacific one that may help you feel in peace but it won't answer deep questions like what's the meaning of life? Where did we come from? Is living 80 years at most all that there is? Why is the universe so much organised? What's the first cause? However Islam does as it is a continuation or rather the correct link that has existed between us and our creator

Congratulations. I hope ALL Muslims And Christians soon come to the important realization that they are still idol worshipping.
Christians do it to a higher degree with Jesus and Muslims to a lesser degree with Muhammad.
Hadith is nothing more than fabrication by men. Although just like any good book one can read and hand pick passages they like. But it should NEVER be placed next to Quran or even in the same caliber that Muslims do.
God has warned us in the Quran of this.
Just as God warned us not to provoke anyone’s name in the places of worship but His.
Yet across the Muslims world prophets and Imams names is mentioned both in written format around the mosques and also in the prayers which is far worse.
The ONLY path is TRUE SUBMISSION.
Prophets came with the divine message of monotheism- yet people made them a symbol and idolize them.
72:18. The places of worship are ˹only˺ for Allah, so do not invoke anyone besides Him.

The reason more born muslims are swaying is because their parents haven't put in the effort, time & resources for their children to acquire knowledge necessary & to implement it in actual life circumstances or they know it but have gotten caught up in life challenges & trials. May The Almighty protect us, give us afiyah in our day to day lives & keep us steadfast in righteous ways. Aameen

What the sheikh said at the end is extremely important. We have to be kind even while refuting someone. We sadly resort to insults sometimes when someone attacks Islam. That is wrong in the majority of cases. There are cases where those who attack are misinformed. Attacking them may push them deeper into their misinformation and cause them to seek more misinformation.
I saw this situation yesterday on a video where brothers were insulting a lady who posted misinformation in the comments. I pointed that the brothers were wrong for the insults and told them to be better. She changed her tone and asked questions. I corrected some of the misinformation she had and invited her to read the Quran. Her tone completely changed. I hope she reads it, and I hope Allah guides her.
Our approach and mindset should be the care and compassion for a lost soul, not the mindset of approaching an enemy.

Love Mufti! ❤ And I completely agree with the brother saying "Mufti normalised being normal". SubhanAllah some Muslims in the West are very critical and have a distorted understanding of what Islam is. I follow many Arab shuyookh on social media and they share they daily lives, doing normal things, including sports, cooking and that has never been a stain on their Deen, character or masculinity! The same duaat have television & radio shows and visit different countries for dawah. But in the West, we are so quick to assume the worst and label mashayekh.

I really like that mufti menk is so humble and knowledgable he's true to his faith and doesn't wear loads brand names and dresses as he likes as I'm much like that I wear many things that others wouldn't but I wear because practical or warm etc stuff that maybe wasn't cheap but is unbranded I have never been one for following the crowd and I prefer practicalities
As a new Muslim revert myself I just came back from umrah and had my first Ramadan, I really love the Islamic faith
I like the fact this brother is so moderate and wise

Ma Shaa Allah! Mufti Menk is in my opinion the quintessential voice of moderation and inclusivity. His humility and vast knowledge base are some of the formidable tools in his arsenal of what it takes to make his Dawah as effective as it is. May Allah (swt) continue to shower His blessings upon this gentle person so he can do what he has been destined to do best on this Dunya; Dawah! He is obviously an individual who shuns personal glorification and his discomfort is quite evident when the other two brothers voice their admiration of his accomplishments and/or prowess.
Mufti Menk has no reason at all to justify the apparent manifestation of his androgynous side when he engages in pastimes such as knitting to benefit his children! He is definitely more masculine by virtue of the fact that he is sufficiently comfortable with his masculinity to allow a manifestation of his androgynous side, which by the way is how Allah (swt) has created all males. We all (both sexes) have been created as androgynous beings with the traits of the other being suppressed to make it less dominant. (for those educated in science, please correct me if I am wrong). This is what differentiates a male from a female.
While we may be collectively awed by the achievements of Mufti Menk, I am certain he will be more than happy to acknowledge other such great and contemporary Muslim greats in Dawah such as Bro. Ahmed Deedat, Dr. Zakir Naik, Dr. Sabeel, Mohamed Hijab, Ali Dawah, Uthman Farouq et al. May Allah (swt) bless all who lend their time and effort to keep the beautiful message of Islam alive, well nourished and perpetually flourishing! Ameen!
Great program Brothers 👍🏼. Sincere Duas, Blessings and Salaams from Sri Lanka. Irshad.
