"Thou shalt not lie, steal, covet, dishonor parents, take God's name in vain.."(Exodus 20) We do not have righteousness on our own to get to heaven, "God made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Cor. 5:21 Godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out. God is deadly serious about sin, when we genuinely repent we hate sin just as God hates it, and we turn away from it.
"But God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. He saves us from sin and hell and brings us into a relationship with him. We become God's children. We are saved from hell, eternal death.
"For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.

'Wallahi' it's something we shouldn't use all the time. Something, 'mufti' menk doesn't know but it is elementary knowledge for someone who claim did study in Madinah.
I would advice to focused on real scholars.
Mufti Menk is who showed me, through his lectures, what real Islam is and I listened to before I finally decided to take my Shahada. Alhamdulillah! This is a very deep introspective conversation between you both, that I pray the whole world could listen to. What beautiful & intelligent Muslim speakers we are blessed with today! Masha Allah! Tabarak Allah. Thank you for this series Sheikh Belal.
Mr.Menk has absolutely succeeded in closing the gap. His friendliness and jokes are truly a relief. And a wonderful invitation to delve deeper into our beautiful faith
As a christian woman I was relieved to get to know scholars like them that made me to loose my fear of these always seriously looking , never smiling elder men lecturing about Islam.
So it is not only about lecturing the younger ones, but also people from outside the umma.
I haven't found anything like this - in the same dephts of knowledge in scripture and without condemning other religions, but sticking to your own - in my native language German.
Which I think is very sad, because there is a need for this, too in order to lern more about the spiritual levels and historic backgrounds (which I am most excited about).

Isn’t it fascinating how these honourable sheikhs, who have dedicated their whole lives studying Islam extensively, and thus have become the torch bearers of Islam, are always so compassionate and merciful. It’s a shame there are a group of men, who just focus on refuting and have a harsh approach. This is pushing people away… may Allah make it easy for everyone ameen❤

This really hit home. As a revert I feel I need a bit of time to make adjustments in my life and grow closer to Allah. I understand I still have a long way to go, but it's helping me more when other muslims are just motivating and teaching me in a gentle way, instead of being harsh about all the haram things I still need to change.

Last feb 2023 i attended his lecture in expo here Dubai, i have been following him since 2015, and im always proud to say that i did my shahada with him. I was on my own and i reverted and its the most beautiful decision i have ever made ❤️✨

Back in 2013-2014 I came across muft Menk’s videos of series of prophets. Those videos change my life forever around that same time I came across a video by shiekh Belal patrioties your life or something in that line. I just became this whole different person. What an amazing video to see both of you doing goodness to our communities. May Allah reward you both. Muft Menk you are the modern leader most kids can relate to. My 12 years old daughter listens to you and cry. She can understand you well. One minute she’s crying and the next she’s laughing with you. What a blessing that is. Keep it up and ignore them. Inshallah I wish you both success in this world and after ameena. May Allah bless your families and the ummah at larger Ameen.

Shaykh Bilal Assaad’s voice and approach is so soothing I could listen to him all day.
It is because of his humour and his light personality that he has so many followers in the world listening to him. And insha'Allah going to and staying on the right path. I have watched all my favorite shuyukh now as I found them out and before the way they started and it's true that I listen to them because of their current attractive way of preaching and the old ways would not have been that attractive for me to listen to.

I'm delighted to see mufti Menk on this show. to be honest many people ask me about how to learn English, if you are from non-native background I should say you start listening to mufti Menk . His language eloquence, his choice of words and his flow of conversation embodies rhetoric beauties.

I really loved how Mufti Menk answered this question. This discussion was really Mash Allah! I like when Mufti Menk was talking about little children and the lack of education for Muslims. I can see Mufti Menk at 90 years old writing children's books.

Muftis Menk humor spoke to me when I was very low in my Iman and had no idea what Islam was really about despite me being raised Muslim. My Sunday school teachers were at times unkind, inpatient and they sometimes hit us they didn’t seem warm or inviting and I left the Quran school as a teen. Hence why when I discovered Mufti being welcoming and relaxed I realized I just need a calm lighthearted teacher. My favorites together. My Saturday afternoon is just getting better JakahAllah Khair!

This mufti will be always in my pray for his sense of humor . Please don’t ever change. He is soooooo right about having fear to talk to our imam or scholar because they r toooooooooo serious and mufti menk does not say anything that is not appropriate . I love his lecture because he is a real moslem and always bring up women’s right which is beauty of Islam . In real Islam women have highest rank and I am bless to be a moslem woman. سبحان الله for beauty of Islam and the most perfect deen.
