Reminds me of Iconoclasts a bit. A bright, colorful cross between a 90s action RPG with some arcade-like combat thrown in. I love games like this!!! I honestly get more excitement out of indie gems like this than with overblown AAA titles.
50:10 This confirms it. If even Gellot gets hit, then it's truly impossible to finish that fight perfectly. I remember getting to attack 12 - 14 before finally giving up. I also remember one of those final hits killing me, softlocking me into the next cutscene. Good times.
That's the point, the sequence doesn't end. You don't have Wave and Shock element at this point so there is no way to beat him and the game forces you to get hit.
Turns out that if you die from fall damage during “the impossible” he won’t be able to hit you, and will keep charging at you and counting, while you are stuck in the death animation. His facial expression changes for the last time at, iirc, 25 . (Tested up to around 300 via this glitch)
I have no idea what the hell the plot of this game is but all i know is the fucking slap at the end destroys any possible argument someone can make for not playing this game. And don't worry after that so i shouldn't get _too_ many spoilers on the story
A superb, amazing arpg if you do not hate tons of puzzles and jumping. Many puzzles of this game rely on jumping, but not all of the platforms are easy to spot their altitude, maybe this is the limit of 2D map, or we did not find out a better way to make it more obvious.

Well, it has to be. It's written in HTML5 framework, and by default those use javascript with limited precision, but implementing a big integer is not difficult.

Twilight Master wasn't 100-to-0'd with one Ether Snipe, 0/10 IGN. SAD! Thank you very much for this vid. It was amazing to watch. And I've learned even more things about duel strats. The most satisfying fight to watch was against the Hillkat Bandleader, that's a lot of projectiles and ricochets to avoid. Which one was the most challenging for you? Also, it's cool that you almost always include the ending in videos that are about all the bosses in a game. And the fact that you don't cut the clip immediately after the fight ends, allowing a bit of the cutscenes to flow in. Makes for a smoother transition for me as a viewer, compared to being thrown into the thick of a battle right away. Last but not least I'm glad that you put your party on "Do nothing' almost everywhere (minus the Raid sequence), and that you basically didn't use Guard Sphere.

Yeah. The foreshadowing for this twist was peppered throughout the whole game. C'Tron hinted that he knew sign language. Sidwell was teaching sign language to Lea. Both C'Tron and Sidwell had a fascination with stars.

There's basically no difference, it's down to personal preference. If you really want to get those chests in Gaia's Garden that needs wave, then go ahead and do the purple temple first
Well, the Hillkat boss is the most annoying boss ever (even more than the moth and the rabbit). The dungeon is so dark and the projectile's color blends in with the ground. Even when I turn off the lighting/shadow so that the whole is lit up, I can't see the cue for the (ranged) attacks. They don't even have a proper attack animation (both melee and ranged), just a weird rattling sound effect to cue the melee attacks. I'm so glad to see them get rekt. So satisfying. That and the ending. Took me way too many tries to make that jump myself, I'm just terrible xD. Also, this game is meme-tastic, like how there is an enemy named Arengee which is based on RNG or how Gautham litterally mean got'em for the ending twist.

This game is an absolute blast to play and I never regretted buying it at full price. The developers invested *so* much time into detailwork and... It's a very fun and *very* challenging experience. So many references, so much character development and then the game can easily make you feel emotions it wants you to feel. It can be quite hard though to finish a playing session though. At some point I wanted to call it a day, but then something interesting was going on and I wanted to continue. Missed lunch that way. ^_^
Finished playing the game now, thank you for the response again because goddamn it's beautiful and I loved it all the way. You weren't kidding about the detailwork - that part in particular really stood out to me, especially with the character portraits.
Best Boss video I've seen so far, the way you dealth with the Ancient Guardian was clever as hell, and I didn't even know those platforms showed up, I've gotta try this in my next playthrough. I still think you could use single target Melee arts (e.g. Battery Assault) in this battle and against Son of the East, but still, 10/10 video and you're really fucking good at this game.
It's mostly just whatever raises Attack and Focus. Defense was only useful at the beginning, where I could guard with 0 damage and during Blue Avatar battle.

Maybe it's because you're using the wrong element to beat the boss or you didn't break the Boss.
Always have equipment in the +2 to -2 (atleast) range, lower than that will just boost the difficulty
I took long cause I did a defensive build, I would guard attacks then reciprocate with the SP gained

That attack deals about 5-8 damage, and I had to raise my defense a lot to lower it to 0.
