Question: Upper molar Implant in June and 8 days later electric shock pain on opposite side of my cheek, 5 weeks later pain in my forehead when talking, also round to my rt ear. Also have bruxism, 4 prior implants, crowns and a bridge, years of dental work. I still need to get crown on the implant tooth and worried that I may get trigeminal pain on that side as well. Less than thrilled about dentist at this point Yes gabapentin works! MRI/MRA - 11/1

I missed the webinar. I just listened and have one question. After MVD and balloon compression, my face burns with numbness, eye is numb causing pain and mouth burns with bee stings 24/7. Nearly three years now. Please help. Have Donne ALL interventions. Don’tkbow if I can keep living like this. Thanks

How can you determine if there is a problem with the tooth versus the affects of Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia?

Hello. It is best to follow up with your dentist. Patients with Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia often experience a feeling of electric shock in the throat.

My facial pain is 24/7 triggered by drops in barometric pressure, wind or AC blowing on me. Is this unusual?

Hello - Yes this is a little unusual. Best to follow up with your specialist.
