I think Pistoliers are overpriced this edition. But this was a great army to use them against, no shooting, not a lot of fast units or cavalry. A hellblaster instead of rocket battery would have been great.

Skirmishers that consists entirely of models with a Unit
Strength of 1 suffer a -1 ToHit modifier.
So no -1 to hit for cavalery
Also is the way cannon hit spawns and kill correct. If you hit unit with multiple wound you make maximum wound to model (max there W profile) you see how meny wound is left and all additional wound transfer to new model.
Very fun batrep. Loved the empire list, so different.
I do think that the chaos favor of the gods is broken. There should be a greater chance of getting something bad. Like on a roll of 1 and 2…? For example -1 toughness on a 2, so the chaos player maybe wounds risk rolling every turn.
When fighting with the witch hunter pistoliers vs just the exalted champion, you could have reformed to open order to keep the linehammer going.

For a Batrep, this felt like it took place in the Blood Bowl universe, Sigmarites and Kurgans only tolerate each-other's presence when the Reikland Reavers and the Chaos All Stars are on thr play-offs

Did you guys forget that multiple shot gives -1 to hit? I think you forgot that each time the pistoleers shot.
Yeah we caught that a little over half way through the game... They didn't do that much with their shooting even without the penalty.
that and also the way the pistoliers were arranged would confer a -2 cover save for the back rank - cover works off of % unit seen rather than model, and models in skirmish will block los for other models in skirmish

Love the costumes! The way the Empire player plays really annoys me though haha mot SnS or not charging when he should and so on
Also, Pistoliers have Brace of pistols, which has the multiple show rule and suffer -1 to hit. The Empire player forgot about this is seems

Not a problem, I did eventually charge too... but I waited until it was advantageous or I needed things tied up.
