    Kia Ora whanau, ko Kathleen Smith toku ingoa, ko Les Smith toku matua, ko Waima Pearlie Rewi toku whaea, ko Tararua te maunga, ko Ngati Kahungunu toku iwi, ko Ngati Moe toku hapu, ko Takitimu toku waka, ko Papawai toku marae..
    I too whakapapa back and was stolen by the state. I'm 56 and i'm now trying to find my way home, Im trying to find my way back to my real self. Thank you for sharing your whakapapa.

    It's really great that you've done it - I know of families where they'll only tell one person the whakapapa and this person might not share it with their brothers and sisters or children then die and the end result is the disenfranchisement of their own people. We've lost so many people through a number of processes. It's time to go find some of them again. Ka nui te aroha.

    Kia Ora Whanau
    Nikaore Te Wharepouri and Aperahama Wheraro both from Te Hauke had 3 children and a daughter who was called: -
    Mereana Mahue who married Henare Pohatu they had my grandmother who was called: -
    Arawhita Mahue Pohatu who married Te Rangi a Tama Christie who had my mother called: -
    Nini Omana Christie who married my father Jospeh Tuahine Northover

    Kia ora whanaunga, ko Kaytrina Underwood, nee Pohatu toku ingoa and what an awesome tribute to your mama. And yes, it is a pity that our whakapapa isn,t given out to whanau who are looking and interested. Tino ataahua.
