It brings tears to my eyes listening to this song so much memories as a child. My name is Rahiri Cooper my grandad name is Tehira Pani Cooper and my nana is Stella Dawn Cooper (blondy) known by many kaumatua and whaea. The day Tehira died was a massive heart aech for me as i didnt find out untill the day before he was buried i wasnt able to make it to matawaia until 1:30 pm the next day as i am living in hamilton.
The part that hurt me the most was that i wasbt able to make it.

Went to gala's at matawaia school and the quarry a local old guy Graham Tautari his partner was vera Johnson they owned the kamatua flats down ngapipito rd me n my brothers lived in the first flat with our mum
