I don't think it's fair to compare a 14 year old game to a new entry from almost 2 years ago and let's be honest, that 14 year old game does have more polish than Cyberpunk. I think the biggest problem of cyberpunk is that they're working with a really old game engine that has a ton of patches to support new features... Thx to that it's really complicated to add new stuff without constantly breaking everything else.

Yeah, the anime made me replay the game after the patch and hype. But I feel like everything is just a hair off of great or flat out broken. Mostly just broken though. Got soft locked in my first run. Looked up a bunch of files to delete from the game folder and then the game runs smooth. Like a few gigs worth of stuff deleted and the game doesn't lock or crash, but weird shit still happens. How is this a thing!?
