the punching npcs thing is even more embarrassing when you consider the fact that everyone in CP2077 is a cyborg so you'd think they'd be more willing to fight back than normal people in GTA
Honestly that would have been an awesome bit of attention to detail. Depending on how enhanced an NPC is they are more likely to fight back and if you're low level and you punch a heavily augmented NPC, they'll just knock you out cold in one swipe. Or with cars. Fully human NPC's would have just been killed with a bloodsplatter while cyborgs would spark and then quickly get up with a few damaged limbs before hobbling off. Some really tough ones would even get up undamaged and start chasing you down on foot, and they'd be really fast. Picking on random NPC's in cyberpunk should feel dangerous cause any one of these people could be some mega terminator.

I was born in 2003 and grew up with these games and plenty other gems. I can confidently say as a fact that late 90s to early 2010s are the golden years of games. Today's games have good graphics (maybe) but they do not give the same feels and experience as the old ones. For example, I can play GTA vice city for hours on end but I get bored of newer open world games easily after completing story.

Now at this moment,I think the "disappearing NPCs" is a legit feature in the game. Like an actual defence mechanism wherein you just vanish into thin air to escape the clutches of your adversary.

Apparently it wasn't rockstar themselves who made the definitive editions, they hired a different company to create the definitive editions of the old GTA games. If it was rockstar themselves who did it it would most likely be a masterpiece, check out the rest of the comments real quick for evidence.

It is hard to find balanced open world games (I like GTA 4, Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, the Outer World, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Fallout New Vegas, and Mafia DE).

@@TheMrCHELL Skyrim is full of bugs too but people love it. I only played a bit of Skyrim but it was almost a decade ago. Too bad the combat is clunky lol. It is hard to find balanced open world games (I like GTA 4, Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, the Outer World, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Fallout New Vegas, and Mafia DE).
