I think you should mostly be able to deal with board breakers without Fiendsmith by following an alternate combo line. (Line in another comment because it’s long.)

btw goblin is also s pretty good 1 card into IP/SP, combined plus trap, snatchsteal and fieldspell. only gets better with more cards obv.

You can also play silhouette rabbit + aphophis the swamp deity in the main to act as a negate/backrow protection, instead of ending on I:P or S:P
Deck is crazy now, im playing it with feind smith. It feel so unfair you just push through everything and people just hand loop them selfs
So what does one play now with appal ban ?

it's really hard, nearly impossible, but with angwitch, fusion and bone party you can survive in the opponent's turn and then start full gas

Dude why is this deck so hard to pilot
It isn’t, the lines are pretty straightforward since you always want the same monsters on board
You shifter them and they loose It's every interaction with them
That applies to a lot of decks
None of the new meta decks run shifter.
