At 17:27 the synchro should have been allowed, chundra doesn't need his effect to synchro since it's a tuner. With proper ruling tenpai would have won again
No, the tenpai player went to Bp, atk with both dragons, then tried going paidra to Synchro, the issue here is both Chundra and Paidra are negated so he cannot perform the synchro summons due to it being a effect that does it, veiler on paidra and Imperm was on Chandra, if the tenpai player had a brain he could’ve just made Bjdent in M1 and reborn the Chundra and that would’ve been game.
Memento is incredibly fun and complex, if only this game wasn't just go first or play tenpai it would be much better. Still glad to see a skillful deck like Memento get played at high levels
Game 1 we couldn’t veiler Chandra before battle because he went battle activate kaimen to summon the chundra. Also azurune negates internal summons not effects that would summon stuff.
god i despise tenpai and all the non-games it creates. either you can counter every summon they have in wich case the deck instantly looses or they resolve one synchro and the game is instanstly over.
Anyone can play tempai, This video shows that you require zero knowledge. Even if you play Magic or Digimon, just pick the deck and throw random shit, it always works.
@@mogwai694 ofc doesn't reward good skillful play, it's a simple deck which only requires basic knowledge about the battle phase. That by itself isn't bad, not everyone want to waste it's time learning absurdly long combos and interactions. The real problem is that you NEED to pick 20+ handtraps or the sackiest boardbreakers to even have a chance on a half decent tournament. Hyperconsistency and 3 effects/card were a mistake.

@@STHTNT23 Ah yes indeed he went directly into BP, stupid mistake

no azurune can negate the tenpais because the summons happen immediately after the effect resolves, so it's not part of the effect

And u need 0 skills for tenpai .

Didn't work out for this guy in game 3 with heatwave and shifter lol
That's not bad tbh. Not every single fucking deck should be D/D/D tier in terms of complexity
@@deletethis7848 agreed that not every deck should be complex, but these decks should also not have like 18 cards that can 1 card OTK your opponent.
@@deletethis7848Tenpai is just a sack fest. Doesn’t reward good skillful play.

No field no win
Veiler under shifter was crazy tho
no shifter was turn 0 veiler turn 2 so shifter effect was gone.
the game one was so funny, how ignorant tenpai can its funny but cool
It's almost like heat wave is trash or something lol
wouldnt say that lmao, card is very strong
