@neildavidson7768 hey Neil, I hope your radiotherapy sessions are going well buddy. I'm in a very similar position to you. I got diagnosed last Sept with PCa. Gleason 3 & 4. Slight break out of prostate. Surgery Nov 2nd 2023. Had first appt and PSA check 2nd Jan 2024 and PSA was 0.1. Also upgraded to PT3b as seminal vesicles and bladder neck positive margins. Oncologist suggested I wait and watch and no treatment until 0.4 or highr PSA. Had PSA checked Feb 1st and it was up to 0.15, then checked again 15/3 and it was 0.22. Got a call with oncologist mid April and pushed for salvage RT. Had planning scan 26th April and waiting on date of first session. Probably starting next 2 to 3 weeks. 20 sessions like yourself. I am 51 so like yourself I want this sorted and hopefully cured. I had the idea of waiting and watching a psa rise enough to see it in a scan or feel symptoms. Yo are doing a great job with the videos and a great help to me as we have similar profiles. Good luck. Must get a chat sometime if you are up for it I'll send you my mobile number. Cheers Phil
Hi there Phil, yes very similar journeys we are going through. Did you watch the video of me having an actual radiation dose. I got permission from our local NHS Trust. Boring for most but for those who have upcoming treatment it just shows how it is. I'm half way through the 20 fractions. Won't lie am suffering with some side affects in rectum issues. Am trying to watch what I eat and when but we can discuss this. Yip we can chat soon mate so I can help ya be prepared. Cheers bud
