- Hey everyone, I apologize for the choppy play but I hope this helped you on your mission to learn that solo.

Thanks. Great to see a new generation of guitar players appreciating the greatness of Pagey.
pagey?
thank you for deciphering one of jimmy's best spellbinding rifs
Thank you bro, you have no idea how much this helped me
I Love you man... Iv been looking for this for a long time! I Have my own version but with this I put a few things together and now sound better.
Jhunior ßeato hahaha I know the feeling dude!!! I looked everywhere but could never find this solo. Glad to help :)
Very good job : NOW let's see someone try to break down that explosive outro part of Dazed . The part that begins right after the violin bow part and lasts almost until the end of the song . It's the greatest guitar soloing ever given in the history of music !
Now THAT one is a challenge.. tell you what.. give me a couple weeks and I’ll see what I can do!
@@zachjones9749 I doubt anyone can even come close. I'm talking about the whole thing ......note for note ! I saw another guy nail down the No Quarter solo from TSRTS but that one is much shorter. Page is the greatest rock guitarist ever in my opinion.
@@bobhope3716 that would definitely be a challenge.. it’s so good though I totally agree! This live song along with Since I’ve Been Loving You, Rain Song, and Stairway to Heaven are just absolutely masterpieces from this live show
@@zachjones9749 TSRTS originally came out in 1976 as a movie for theaters and was the first movie to feature 16 track sound. . I saw it and immediately knew who the greatest rock guitarist ever was .
Thanks i've been searching for a breakdown of this specific part since i discovered the msg live, nice work btw
Great vid! Not sure if you mentioned it, but it's good to note that the piece is basically the same as Achilles Last Stand.
Cool lesson dude...another tune to add to my mesh of riffs! ☝😎🎸
You have a telling. And a liking for greatness. Keep going.
your excellent take is all we need to find the footing on that passageway...... thank you.
Good job dude! That cleared a few things up. That is an amazing and hauntingly beautiful song!
Bro..............i love you man!!! Been looking for tabs for 5 weeks now for this part only😭
Zach, you are a stud. I wish I could play these parts with you lol. Nobody I know plays this stuff.

@@zachjones9749 it's a bloody great riff
CAM H-CONNOR oh hell yeah. Fantastic riff - probably my favorite one right next to the No Quarter solo off this album

Do You have the tab?
I’m a bit confused at the little lick at @4:10 .. can you explain it abit more? Cheers
Basically you are just hitting the open low E once then doing a pull off from the high E to the open E then hammer 3 to 5 then open E again. Does that make sense?

Zach Jones sort of. I watched another video and came back to this and it made a bit more sense. Thank you :)

Which Guitar
Thanks for the tutorial.
Bur hey, not trying to be incovenient... but you so many people, including you leave these string rests ranging on the neck of the guitar, i mean, it isn't hard to just cut them. Anyway... thanks.
LeandroBRC47 anytime! And I know about the strings hahaha I’m constantly changing them so I get lazy about cutting them short. Sorry. Thanks for watching though!
@@zachjones9749 hahah i see. Thanks again man!
If you’re goin to sannnnnfransisco

1965??
1973 brah
OSOZ totally right! Most definitely a typo. Meant to say 1975, when the movie came out, but concert was definitely ‘73. Thanks for the catch!
Good ear though. You've got all the right notes there and the hybrid picking pretty much down. Only shows Jimmy's hands for a couple seconds in the movie but that's what hes doing. I'm working on transcribing the entire Dazed, minus bow solo into Guitar Pro. I've got alot done and hope to share it on my channel in the near future.
