- Rick performing a semi-solo show, featuring many anecdotes and music, this time with pre-recorded guest musicians to accompany him. Also features some "very rare footage" from Rick's past.
The ability to take the piss is an endearing quality if its self deprecating . .Rick Wakeman has it down to perfection . .and a mighty fine musician too . .hats off to him . .
I've admired Mr Wakeman for many years, certainly with Yes, and his love of Moog synthesizers. He is wonderful at story telling, and his stories of early piano lessons are a real treat. We share a similar career in that we both play keyboards, and I have now become a piano teacher, and everything he has reminisced here was so authentic. Long may he live. Love ya Rick.
I remember his Journey to the Centre of the Earth concert. That was mind blowing.
I saw that in Cincinnati in the 70’s sometime. Opening act was gentle giant.
Great show!!!
Awesome!!!❤❤
My step brothers n my self have met Rick and Adam a few times over the years mainly back stage or last time in his executive suit, He's a great guy to talk to and very witty and funny but also very intelligent and talented and tells some awesome tales of his rock n roll past antics.Hes a great all round entertainer an a real English gentleman.
Brilliant
This guy is an awesome man in an awesome band
The multidisciplined,ubiquitous
Rick Wakeman can be described
as Strawbs/Yes/ARW keyboardist
extraordinaire meets Monty Python (John Cleese).
I vaguely recall Jon Anderson being in Howard Stern.
It would be incredible to see Rick as a guest on Howard Stern.
Perfect Guest
And then when it gets down to the music it's virtuosity performance!
Really wanted to hear "Monkey on a stick"! Hope it's in part 2...
World's funniest Southern Baptist Sunday School teacher. At least as funny as Craig Ferguson...
