I so miss seeing Kristen on TV. What an amazing actress she is. I watched her grow up on OLTL and move on to GH. It's so sad she's not on anymore. I'm SO glad to see her on SOM.

Todd is still on GH and has played multiple characters. He just can’t legally be Todd anymore. Star’s character never left her even when she played Kiki it didn’t seem right!

My God, she is so beautiful, so grounded. Her parents sound like AMAZING people. They did a great job, I can't imagine how incredibly proud they are of her. So shocked to hear of her brother's cancer 😢. That had to be so rough but her attitude about it, wow. What a great interview. Made me just love her even more. I watched her on OLTL from day 1 and all the way through her time on GH. Sending so much love & light to her and her family.

I never met her dad, but her mom is such an absolute sweetheart and so are Kristen and her brother, Eddie, and Eddie fiancee, Sylwia. 💖

My mother watched ABC soaps so I grew up watching them in the late 70s and I never stopped. I watched Kristen gown up on TV and have gotten to know her and Taylor really well over the last year. I can tell you this is Kristen. She is always so positive and carring. She is truly a great person and a great friend. Thank you Mo for having her on.

OLTL fans watched Kristen grow up. We adore her. She's more than enough. When Starr was a spoiled brat, it was humorous and made us laugh. When she started having grownup stories she was a huge part of OLTL history. Her scenes with Todd and Blair were always amazing. Her scenes with Asa are legendary.

I'm so thrilled to see this interview with Kristen. I remember when she and Eddie were little kids on One Life To Live. I'm also from the Philadelphia area and like many others in this area have followed their careers and have always wished the best for both of them. I'm glad to see and hear that they're both doing well in their lives. I have the same kind of relationship with my brothers that Kristen has with Eddie. In the case with our family I was the one who had cancer and my brothers were the ones who would keep me going and laughing. Ironically enough my cancer also went into remission five years ago right around the time our beloved Eagles won the Superbowl.

Such a great interview. It is rare to see a child actor transition to adult life so successfully as Kristin. It was a pleasure to watch her as Starr on OLTL and GH, and I hope to see her back on tv in the future.
We can all learn a lesson from Kristen; keep positive and keep the faith! Find the joy in life even through the difficult times is so valuable.
There are many reasons to listen to this podcast and I’m so grateful to be a fan of Maurice’s work which led me here.

This was a very enjoyable episode. I admire you, Maurice for doing these interviews as it keeps my mind from wandering places that triggers my anxiety. And. Kristen is so bubbly and happy even tho she has been through so much. I admire her for sticking by her brother’s side all through his cancer battle. It sure isn’t a piece of cake. I feel for her, as I know what it’s like. I went through 5 years of cancer battle with my son when he was 8. The dr’s said he would never have kids , but hey he has 4, and is 41 years old! Thanks to you and Kristen for a super state of mind today ❤️🙏🏼👏🏼

I watched Starr from when she first came on One Life to Live, throughout the ending of the show, then onto General Hospital playing Starr first, then to Kiki! Watching her literately grow up on screen, & seeing her now & listening to how her life was growing up & all the things she went through & did is SO AWESOME!! Maurice thanks for having Kristen on State of Mind. I have watched her on One Life to Live from the beginning and when they canceled the show I was so sad. When they brought her character of Star on General Hospital that gave me so much joy. I miss seeing her on the show but I understand her loyalty and missing her family and wanting to be back home. She is so humble. You can tell by her pass relationships and future she has really grown to be an amazing person. 🥰🇨🇦

Phenomenal human beings the Alderson family! Her sense of family love is beyond words. The love her and Eddy share is so special, not typical of most siblings. Fantastic actress from 6 years old as I've watched her on OLTL from her 1st day til her last day as Kiki and can imagine the Emmys & Oscars and all the other accolades to be bestowed upon her in years to come🎉🎉

I was so excited to see that she would be on State of Mind. What a breath of fresh air! I really miss her and OLTL. One of my favorite eras was when they were doing High School Musical scenes. Not only is she an incredible actor, but she has a gorgeous singing voice! Her talent needs to be back at GH. Ahem, all Nurses Balls!!! Fingers crossed we’ll see her on any show sometime soon! It's good to see Kristen has a great head on her shoulders, given her background. I definitely miss seeing her on the screen and hope I get to see her again. I am also glad I got to meet both Kristen and Eddie a few times when they were on OLTL...between the OLTL Fan Club Luncheons and she was at one of the MAW Foundation charity events I attended in the early 2000s. It doesn't surprise me how close she is to her family because her mom was with both of them at every event they participated in while on the show but never acted like the ultimate "stage mom", but just let them do what they needed to do when representing the show. It is also evident from this conversation that both she and Eddie were raised to be down to earth people, in spite of being famous at such young ages. Thank you , Maurice for this State of Mind conversation. And I wish good things for both Kristen and Eddie.

I've had such trauma in 7 months...its horrible My daughter passed away...My therapy kitty of 13 years just passed then my ex boyfriend oh and family thinks I should be fine...I am not oh Maurice thank God you're here you are amazing ! GH is the best love ya ! ❤

She was my favorite! I was so upset when they canceled one life to live and all my children but so glad GH was still there for us soap lovers GH please don't go away I started watching as a little girl feels like family each day getting to see my favorite cast getting really into the storyline, talking back to the TV lol I mean that's what gives me a bit of happiness :)

That is so amazing to me. I grew up watching everyone from 1985 on and on till present. I truly remember everyone's different characters but I did not know I was looking at the same people. Everyone is just that great at their craft. Wow. Amazing accomplishment on behalf of all cast members. Thank you for all that you do that gives the rest of us hope and courage. Here’s hoping maybe we will see her again on GH. Thank God her brother survived his cancer, I agree with the way they went about it, better positive vibes, when I had cancer my family tiptoed around me and I told them not too that if I was going to be here a short time let’s celebrate!
