  • In our 2nd episode we present you Mr. Greg Smith, president of BDFI, World and British Open Champion.
    Being Ballroom Dance World Champion and renowned adjudicator of all major competitions for over 30 years he expressed his view on many aspects of performance through the eyes of an adjudicator.
    It was our great pleasure to prepare this piece of content for you as we strongly believe that preparation plays an essential role in performance of any competitor, therefore we have to be clear on the rules of the game where judges are playing a crucial role.

    You said that judges are not effected by the "home town" participant even though spectators are excited about them - makes sense. How about a dancer that may not meet your criteria as the number one dancer but move the spectators in some way? Will you place that couple higher than what you would if the spectators were not so moved?
