This is one of the most genuine beautiful humans I’ve ever seen on the internet!!! His nuggets of wisdom are like those of a wise old man and it’s clear he is having such an impact in this world, and has surely changed the way I perceive attorneys!!!! 💗
I enjoy this attorney so much … in a world with so much stress and hustle and bustle - I really am learning from this very blessed man. “Thank you sir”😊
and it can negatively affect many others as well. When you grow and learn but those around you don't, you better be ready with patience, if you dont have the patience, you will begin to condescend
If someone does something I don't like, I always go with, "What" lead up to you doing...? To me, when you ask "why" did you..., it comes across as confrontational. Thanks for the great video!👌👍💯
I just found this video. I follow both of you and love both of your content. AMAZING to see this collaboration! Appeared just at the right time. Thank you!
You are ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! You have literally saved me. I would always engage in arguments and now because of you, I don't cry any more when someone tries to hurt me. I was actually surprised when I didn't cry!!!! I asked myself why am I not crying? Oh yah cuz of Jefferson! God bless you
His working/thinking through conversions through a court room lens and it’s very helpful to have a productive results I’m guessing him hearing his father share all those court room stories, plans, and outcomes as a child made it a natural way of thinking/planning on how to resolve a problem
Such a great topic! I enjoyed listening to Jefferson's calming responses and had a lot of takeaways that I'll be using effectively in my next discussions. Jefferson's tips are of huge benefit as I've been following him for some time now. Thanks!
This is very true but don't overlook that aside from a marital relationship most relationships whether friends, coworkers, even family members and certainly bosses, supervisors etc are not always between two people of equal status so one person is often more motivated to resolve the conflict in a mutually beneficial way. Its not to say the other person doesn't care at all but even if they care about you and even claim to love you their ego is far more Important than the relationship so they are far more willing to roll the dice n jeopardize the relationship especially if they think and perhaps if there has been a pattern of one person( lower status person) being tje one initiating recomcilliation.
Jefferson, I totally caught your advice in how to be more believable in this segment. I heard the "right?" saw your head nod and it was great. I love the parts about the kids, your kids that you talked about, it makes me a feel so whole and know your such a good dad! (I know there is greatness in the world, I will forever believe that.) I come to you from an adversity of lymphoma that I had in 2020, I'm all good now however I am since turning over a new leaf. I am empathic, and while I always knew that I carried great communication abilities, what I didn't know was how to assert myself respectfully and own my "how, what, why, my boundaries my values, story". I have learned so much from you, and I can't thank you enough. I envy your upbringing with parents of strong words and diplomacy. I had parents who didn't know how to respond to the emotional needs I needed as a child. They did their best with what they had though, now through learning this it only fuels my curiosity of wisdom in every part of my life. Oh and I definitely related to the bad hair day, which was a most insightful analogy for me. I think of these things all of the time, I have never learned how to put them into words. Thank you again Jefferson, Thank you Kimberly!! I am so glad you got to have the chance to meet with him. How amazing! Thank you both for your time.
How the actual fuck is this my life at 44? - Forever perpetually alone and single (never ever been in a real relationship) - Never ever had a real friend - Poverty - Diabetic - Lonely and alone - Frumpty-dumpty (everyone thinks I'm so old) - Child-less - No family of my own I'm in hell and there's no escape. I'm drowning in grief and rage. My soul is raped. I am traumatized and paralyzed. I was a child, in so much pain, abused, bullied, minimal to no support, just doing my best. What a miracle to be able to feel such rage and grief. So beautiful. So wild. So gorgeous. So intense. So loving, so kind. So free. PRAYER: Lord, I pray for healing: physically, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually, In JESUS' name: break every chain, stronghold, yoke, every generational curse, and all witchcraft, and spell work. Holy Spirit, anoint me: from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Release me, completely, from every darkness looming around me, in Jesus' name. Shine your light, your healing, your saving grace, and power over me. And FILL me with YOUR AGAPE LOVE and grace. I speak peace over my heart and mind and soul and body, in JESUS' name. So be it. So it is. Praise be to God. Hallelujah! Thank you, God, for Guiding me with your love and light! Thank you, God, for Surrounding me with your love and light! Thank you, God, for Protecting me with your love and light! Thank you, God, for Imbuing me with your love and light! Thank you, God, for Cloaking me with your love and light!
I’m am incredibly thankful to have stumbled upon this video!! This is incredibly helpful for all families who have been estranged with junk left on the table. On my self help journey, grateful that you are sharing these lessons!!
10:33 this sounds like a good strategy to get opposing counsel all worked up at the beginning with a strategic plan to quickly calm yourself knowing you just got them all worked up and they may stay that way
Jeff makes sense...very logical. I like his short insta clips! Wondering, thoughts to talk with friends (in their 50s) that use too much weed and now using DMT...is this not an escalation? how to approach them that these substances are not inert and can have serious consequences down the road...how do i bring that up? or do i just distance myself?
I want to start using the phrase 'Do not cross-examine me' more often. However, I'm not sure how to respond when someone continues to ask me questions or becomes abusive during a conversation, even after I've asked them to stop in multiple ways. How can I effectively set my boundaries?
Oh wow! I really liked this episode. I wanted more. I wish it would have went more into how to start and have better/more communication with a reluctant spouse that has left marriage and is avoidant to talk to the standing spouse. Mostly to restart or change old patterns or communicating Just to help start a friendship.
Is also a good choice to not be too demanding but to find a balance, this doesn’t meander a relationship is not wanted, maybe about different life styles
Or how do you reconcile with someone who just never want to start a healthy convo and repentance . I had to always swallow my pride even if I’m the one being mistreated and abused verbally .
Really need to have a job and an income and I'm trying to better myself and better my life and I really need to be able to earn money to support myself and see myself being better and living better I'm trying but I'm having problems with my cell phones for years. I've been asking for help and only one friend would help me. So far. I was so happy feeling like I was moving forward and seeing myself be a better person working towards my goals.
How do you reset a spouse who has not connected with you even intimate for 15 years bec they just have to abuse and gaslight you and never have sense of accountability 😊
You don’t. If this is a relationship you’re willing or have to stay in, you just learn how to navigate around it and not get triggered. Otherwise, you run as fast as you can and save the rest of your life.
Very lovely indeed, yet the type of Harvard person, not being out of their elite comfort zone? Boring kindness but still lots to learn from him! Going to follow 😸

Never clicked on a video launch faster in my life 😂 I’m going to use those phrases moving forward: “Maybe so,” “I’ll be better,” “I’ll do better.” 🙏🏾
This dude is solid gold. Thank you for interviewing him.
I enjoy this attorney so much … in a world with so much stress and hustle and bustle - I really am learning from this very blessed man. “Thank you sir”😊
It had not occurred to me that improving communication skills could positively impact all areas of my life. It feels like a real-life cheat code.
and it can negatively affect many others as well. When you grow and learn but those around you don't, you better be ready with patience, if you dont have the patience, you will begin to condescend
Jeez I wish I had parents like this guy. His kids are so fortunate. I still have problems communicating at age 58. What a guy 💙
So impressed with Jefferson’s sense of responsibility…..impressive
I love all Jefferson's advice, he should write the book:)
If someone does something I don't like, I always go with, "What" lead up to you doing...? To me, when you ask "why" did you..., it comes across as confrontational. Thanks for the great video!👌👍💯
❤🇺🇸I would vote for him for president! Can you imagine?!
Unfortunately, a large portion of our nation prefers empty, mindless, overly emotional, hateful, selfish showmanship.
Me too! He would make an incredibly great President! Kind, thoughtful and truly the peoples kind of president
Maybe so… 😉
You read my mind!
Ah, now that would be the ultimate test for him
'Don't make that your Alamo." You really spoke to this Texan! This resonates with me. Thank you to you and your dad, Jefferson.
What does Alamo mean?

Doesn’t look like that he ever gets tensed. He is amazing. His short videos are superb. Thanks.
He does suffer from panic attacks and attends weekly therapy acc to another podcast. I find him insightful and inspiring.

You dont. Get out of this NOW. Your smiling emoji is also disturbing, considering your situation. Please get out of this.
Hey please Jefferson could you answer this person because it xould be ibteresting anout to 80/20 proportion
Jefferson didn't once mention Frank The Tank
Sounds like a Christian guy fab
Essentially, know how to walk on eggshells for people, because people are emotional children... Pathetic!
