    At some point, I wish Indycar would explain why we get such wildly inconsistent visor cams. The obvious assumption is that drivers who volunteer for it are allowed a choice of which one to wear. I’ve never heard or read that actually stated though.
    Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally grateful to Indycar, the drivers, and teams to have these views. They’re always very much a great thing. From a purely fan perspective, however, getting a mish-mash of 720p30, 1080p30, and 1080p60 is a bit annoying. Especially since the cameras can have different fields of view and different color palettes.

    I have no idea why F1 always struggled to pick where the US Grand Prix would be, like America is so big why not have 2-3 US Grand Prix? There’s. a bunch of amazing tracks here. Right now Indy car does everything right that f1 does wrong and I’m super stoked to see them race at road America this weekend

      Because f1 cars can only go around grade 1 circuits in short only the most safe circuits and there's only 2 grade 1 or grade A circuit in the US the Indianapolis speedway ( which would be ran in its road course form ) and COTA also there's only 1 grand prix allowed per country in f1 unless there's an empty spot due to a circuit being taken of the calendar and the spot needs to be filled

      Avin Kavish the track is so much tighter, and they sound better in person. But yes they’re slower

      The exhaust and engine configuration are different, but in real life they sound almost the same.

      Mostly because the engines in indycar rev lower and the turbo sounds in f1 are a high pitch whining noise

    They brake early compared to f1 cars.
    Noticed to they have to lock steering more to turn almost like road car.

      Less aero this year around.

    • @glassoul
      @glassoul 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Less aero than previous years; harder tire compound to improve driver impact on outcome. Last hairpin turn is tightest and slowest turn in the series, hence full lock

      Wait until next year mate, if F1 wants to reduce the outwash they had to reduce the downforce. Next year is a simplify aero kit for sure.
