- 2016 Long Beach SST Race 2 final lap between Robby Gordon and Sheldon Creed. While Gordon & Creed battled for the lead, the SAFECRAFT truck of Pat O'Keefe tested the safety features of both the truck and the catch-fence.

It is a genuine shame that this sport isn’t bigger in the US…I mean what’s not to love; big fast trucks, wild accidents and keep on racing, big smoky burnouts, jumps, etc.

We are winning them over one race at a time.
I watched these races as a kid, loved seeing them come back. My favorite track is still the LA Coliseum, hopefully that track makes the schedule again. Always an amazing show.
I mean, someone loves them. SST has a huge following in Australia, and with that alone, SST will be around for awhile. Not to mention, it's still growing. Nationally and internationally.

That was an entertaining 3 minutes. From the leaders racing, ignoring the yellows, racing to the incident, 2nd place crossing the line on 2 wheels, and then the truck pin balling off the fence 👍
Jeez that catchfence is incredibly strong. The truck just bounced off it. Also great racing. I gotta check this series out
They learned something from the NASCAR tragedy.
Helps to have the grandstands stationed a little further back, too. But yeah, it’s amazing how those fences can be that strong despite not being permanent fixtures.
Why I love this new series! Robby Gordon is a genius creating it! Best racing I’ve seen in a while! Those trucks are double tough! The reaction of Robby at the end was priceless! What a class act! A true racer and gentleman!!!

I love that Robby and Sheldon raced all the way to the last corner even on a yellow. This series is about racing and I love it.
Can´t be. If there is yellow, YOU SLOW DOWN AND DO NOT OVERTAKE. Simple as that.

Imagine seeing a truck up ahead going into the catch fence & almost have it land on your truck. Good job by that driver to slow down in time.

He was real smart about keeping the wheel straight after the point of no recovery. These are professional drivers like any other.

These races always leave a smile on my face and my kids think they are the coolest things ever!
This is hands down the most entertaining racing I know of today, crossed up, hanging it all out, smoking the tires, to hell with the lap times real estate racing.... quality entertainment. I was an ARCA Truck Series owner and 2015 Champion owner.....we put on a good show but it wasn't this much fun to watch!

I love how safe these trucks are. I've seen some HUGE wrecks and it never looks dangerous. These trucks are solid.

I love when these pop up in my feed. It really feels like yes it is a race and they all want to win but at the end of the day they are all performers and want to make it an experience for the viewers. Great final lap with multiple overtakes, 2nd place on 2 wheels, 1st and 2nd doing doughnuts over the line. big crash where the driver looked fine afterwards. what is not to like about this?!?! much more enjoyable than F1 imo.
Proper racing and a bit of showboating at the end because of the caution.This series deserves far more recognition.I found it on lockdown and it helped getting through those days inside👍👏👏👏😍🏴

This is what Motorsport is supposed to be, these people are having fun and you can see it, as a rally driver watching large trucks like this take turns on asphalt and almost fall over is incredibly entertaining and terrifying to watch

Man, Robby does it for the fans. You can tell in the set up of the races, and his donuts and 2 wheeling for the crowd. Fun for them, a blast for the fans. Definitely needs more of a market in the US than it's getting.

Idk why, but i have a really good sense of speed when watching this series. Idk if its just because its a really tight road course or the trucks are massive enough to show speed compared to sleek race cars
I think it's partially because the suspensions are so soft, you see them violently tilt and flail around from the sheer g-forces. It's great to watch!
Watched these guys race at mid ohio one time. It was awesome!

That was a HELLUVA wicked last pass Creed put on Robby...and it DEFINITELY showed just what kind of class act and a clean racer Robby Gordon is! A LOT of racers out there would of immediately bumped (and spun) Creed immediately after he put that inside move/pass on them before going into the next corner! The good ol bump (and spin) and run right on up to the checkered flag could and would have been an easy option for Robby but he didn't do it...Just checked up and filed in behind him for a 2nd place spot on the podium! Wow what great racing! America! Eff ya!
