This is a great opportunity for farm visibility, if you can brand your farm on the leather just as "corinthian leather" in the old chrysler commercial, it will drive awareness of you farm operation thru the roof. Particularly if it is a base commodity on a coach collar or purse, or some other major designer label. Gucci featuring Polyface Leather, would just be an incredible boost to the consciousness of sustainable commodity production.
Even if individual farm branding is not possible, there should be an effort for "Regenerative farming produced leather", that seems like a no brainer, as the consumer is joining in the story of supporting regenerating soils and saving the planet, as it were.

Hey man, just wanted to say thank you for what you have given the world. I've used rabbits to do to my land what you did with cattle. I made mistakes that cost the lives of untold numbers of them. And I'm betting I love rabbits nearly as much as you live elephants. I've done things in war I'm not happy of either. Things like this are not easy to overcome. May you enjoy the years you have left and may you rest in peace when the time comes.

This is how men should live, carnivore diet for the win via savory!!!

Um, I believe we're omnivores, not carnivores. Both plants and animals are part of a healthy diet, especially when they're produced on good soil using regenerative farming methods.

@@wendyscott8425 how much do you know about the Wim Hof method and fasting? The carnivore diet has similar healing effects, without as much effort. And as long as you eat a diversity of organ Meats you can get all the nutrition you need and more. When humans were kicked out of the forest by climate change our bodies adapted to hunting to an incredible degree are throwing arms, the shape of our feet , our hips, the loss of adaptions for eating plants, our ability to handle fat and high amounts of protein, along with many other adaptions I could list.

@@wendyscott8425 though I do recommend that people take a few months worth of time off a good diet to consume herbal medicines and the like. Vegan diet causes certain types of cancer and the carnivorous diet likely does the same switching between the two can control those cancers though the vegan diet tends to cause more issues then it fixes

@@wendyscott8425 You don't need plants. Actually, the plants are mostly toxic for humans to eat....

@@btudrus I dunno, I'm 75 and still going pretty strong. I've been eating veggies all my life, along with meat, fish, fruits, etc. I'm sure I could live on only animal products (grass-fed and/or pasture-raised, of course), but it would get kind of tiresome after a while. Of course, the thing we should all be avoiding is sugar, but that's a pretty tough sell, too. I try to limit sugar in my diet, but it's pretty much impossible to do so 100% of the time.

Block chain technology can easily track every step a single piece of leather comes from. The software already exist to track every single piece of every hide. The customer could if you wanted scan a number and see the farm it comes from.

“They” demand it for “safety” for cannabis. There’s absolutely no reason it can’t be implemented in any industry they want.

Livestock owners should pull together to come up with a name for leather from free range biodervisity enrichers, land restorers, well raised cows with all their defects from burns on the fences and from giving birth.
