Yes your correct the color is almond. But they are not jacobins they are Dutch capuchin pigeons. Biggest difference in the breed is the size of the hood.

I wish i could buy animals for that cheap, chickens are usually 15 each, bunnies 20 each and quail are about 7 each

I am in central Florida. I haven’t been to an auction in a while, but mostly these prices are much less than we have to pay here.

Pheasant prices can vary a lot! I’ve seen ringnecks sell for as little as $6.50 and goldens for as much as $200. But $50-$100 is common for “rare” pheasants

Most people don’t want to deal with the “mess” of slaughter
V good, do you stand when auction starts, for birds you wish to buy or leave your quote/bid & leave...
You can do it either way if you know the right people but typically you need to be present to bid.

It's hard work to note down all these prices, so no hard feelings if You miss them for some animals. Maybe You could say something on how these prices come up in the next auction video. I get it, it's an auction and people bid, but why is there such an enormous price range, which species, breeds, colors etc. are especially in demand and therefore priced higher - some of this background info would be very interesting to add some depth. PS: I' am really excited to see what You bought!

It’s more then I would pay but it depends. Show quality ducks from a reputable breeder will cost, and be worth, more then $20. Regular “barnyard” ducks not so much

I regularly attend a small caged animal and sheep & goat sale. Sale held twice a month First and Third Saturdays at Koshkonog Missouri. When you buy at that sale the cages sell with the critters. Rabbits sell real cheep there also. I went thru my common pigeons and removed the solid colored red & blue pigeons and just kept the pretty ones. Those sold for $4 each. I thought that was pretty good. I enjoy the auction video.
