Just wondering , what frame rate you used for this video? 24fps always looks choppy unless done by Hollywood pros. But this video looks like even less than 24.

Is there a particular situation you would actually prefer to use a small port say a 140 cm?

If the choice is a big port or a small port, I would almost always chose a bigger one! The exceptions would be for close focus wide angle or wide angle macro, when the big port prevents me getting my strobes in close. In addition, big ports are heavy and a pain to travel with!
