One of the best things about Alice is how he supports other bands, especially those from Detroit. My brother-in-law bumped into him at the shop at a golf club in Arizona, and they had a nice conversation. Alice isn't pretentious in the least.

I met Alice once at a Pro-Am golf tournament and when not on stage found him to be one of the most down to Earth guys I ever met.

I like the fact that he is down to earth. He seems so different than the person he portrays. He seems to separate the two and handles it quite well. It reminds me of a particular Elvis saying " The man is one thing and the image is another."

I think the greatest thing about Alice is how he came back around to his faith. Three albums in the 90's/00's had very Christian themes in the lyrics.
Last Temptation/Brutal Planet/Dragontown...these have the best songs in my opinion.

It's just so cool how 20 30 years into his career he just reinvents himself. Along came a spider was bad ass too, it came out like right after I got into his work!
