I went to the Trump rally in Manchester, NH yesterday. I had no idea what to expect once there. I mean, I've watched a ton of Trump events, but I didn't know what to expect from the other people attending. EVERYONE was super nice, super friendly. It was a pleasant surprise, because it was kind of rough out in the line for a while. Cold, rainy, and everyone corralled together with a ton of strangers. But no, it was fun out there and helped the time go by faster. Lots of great conversations, a lot of laughs. Just fun out there Trump's time at the podium was AWESOME. Pence and Don Jr. were great as well. It was a great time last night. Trump EASILY filled a 12,000 seat arena, and there were THOUSANDS and thousands of people outside of the event that couldn't get in. On the same day, Warren only pulled in like 100 people or something like that. And Biden is hurting just as bad, if not worse at this point
Minneapolis last fall was a blast... Except for the 3 hour wait once we got inside, blasted by a too loud sound system replaying prince and lyonal Richie. I think the place was run by anti-Trumpers punishing us. Other than that, Eric Trump came out to warm up the crowd and was underwhelming. Repeating himself and spouting canned talking points. The campaign manager had a hard time whipping up the crowd, but when Trump came out the crowd blew up! Oh yeah, a bunch of local politicians came out and got seated down front and not a single one grabbed the mike to say anything! Huge opportunity missed! Jason Lewis could have blown the lid off the place. Seen him at a gym in Lakeville do a campaign kickoff speach and the place was rockin. Other than that it was pretty much what I expected. Oh yeah Getting out was a log jam because the mayor shut down the exits and to further punish Trump supporters. They said it was because of ANTIFA, but by then they were almost disbanded, except for the motley crew down by the light rail. Took over 45 minutes to get out of there. Felt sorry for the old ladys hobbling down the stairs. Next time I'll probably just go to the bar!

Before I made up my mind on who to vote for as I was becoming an adult I went to a Trump rally and a few democratic rallys. The Trump rally was a lot bigger and the people were definitely eccentric, but not like crazy racists or anything, just normal middle class people. The Democratic rallies were very small in comparison and much quieter. I'm actually not sure what was even happening there. There were a few times when the people would chant along amd what not, but for the most part it was just people hanging around talking about BLM, LGBTQ, and Trump. In short, neither was anything like the media's portrayal.

Depends on who you are and what you ask at trump rallies. I went to one in Concord, NC for a paper I was writing and interviewed people about their opinions on his policies, straight up without adding little bitch twists to the questions. A couple guys stood up in my face after I corrected them that France does take in refugees after they said they didn't. I walked away because I was by myself. A grandpa told me to shut up, and i saw a lady screaming her head off while holding a baby. There's a mix of people but definitely some fucked up mixed in there.

I went to the Trump rally in Manchester, NH yesterday. I had no idea what to expect once there. I mean, I've watched a ton of Trump events, but I didn't know what to expect from the other people attending. EVERYONE was super nice, super friendly. It was a pleasant surprise, because it was kind of rough out in the line for a while. Cold, rainy, and everyone corralled together with a ton of strangers. But no, it was fun out there and helped the time go by faster. Lots of great conversations, a lot of laughs. Just fun out there
Trump's time at the podium was AWESOME. Pence and Don Jr. were great as well. It was a great time last night. Trump EASILY filled a 12,000 seat arena, and there were THOUSANDS and thousands of people outside of the event that couldn't get in. On the same day, Warren only pulled in like 100 people or something like that. And Biden is hurting just as bad, if not worse at this point

Oh yeah, a bunch of local politicians came out and got seated down front and not a single one grabbed the mike to say anything! Huge opportunity missed! Jason Lewis could have blown the lid off the place. Seen him at a gym in Lakeville do a campaign kickoff speach and the place was rockin.

The "comradery" of Trump supporters is honestly better described as the bond church members (or, even cult members) share. They're all united under a banner of a similar ideology with well defined "enemies." Before I made up my mind on who to vote for as I was becoming an adult I went to a Trump rally and a few democratic rallys. The Trump rally was a lot bigger and the people were definitely eccentric, but not like crazy racists or anything, just normal middle class people. The Democratic rallies were very small in comparison and much quieter. I'm actually not sure what was even happening there. There were a few times when the people would chant along amd what not, but for the most part it was just people hanging around talking about BLM, LGBTQ, and Trump. In short, neither was anything like the media's portrayal.

Funny thing. I did the same thing. The Trump rallies were big but crazy and full of people screaming racist shit. Democratic rallies were smaller but more organized and polite. Every once in a while you run into a Karen. Bernie rallies are the best though.

Depends on who you are and what you ask at trump rallies. I went to one in Concord, NC for a paper I was writing and interviewed people about their opinions on his policies, straight up without adding little bitch twists to the questions. A couple guys stood up in my face after I corrected them that France does take in refugees after they said they didn't. I walked away because I was by myself. A grandpa told me to shut up, and i saw a lady screaming her head off while holding a baby. There's a mix of people but definitely some fucked up mixed in there.
Obviously, I'm biased towards thinking trumpers are ignorant or complicit in racist shit because of the kids they put in cages, lost them, keep them in horrible conditions. So also my bias is fuck them.
