- Today we go on a drive in my 1998 Mustang GT, it is a very fun and rowdy car. This is my first video so it kind of serves as a test so I can learn the process of TH-cam, editing, and filming. LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE!

Nice! Sounds similar to my 95 even with the 5.0 which has 4 gutted cats and no mufflers and the tailpipe neck up (not slide on tips) to 3" polished pipe just the last 18" or so and its straight cut which did change the sound immensely way deeper and it growls more and straight cut makes it pop and gurgle a lot more, it sounds pretty rank and loud, and it's funny mustang guys are a secret group, Everytime I see another mustang any year they step on it, it's funny as hell, were all mustang brothers apparently.
something about old mustangs man. the sound, the seating position, just enough horsepower to be fun.. i'd love to own one as a side project one day.
Sn95 mustangs are probably the cheapest mustangs I've ever seen. I've seen a good running gt for 3800$ with 170k, kind of a lot but it was a 96 with a 4.6, gorgeous car. I got my 95 gt for 3500 and am in the process of fixing her up

@NudaMan they're comfy cruisers. I daily my 95 gt and honestly have no complaints. Gutless as heck but she sounds amazing straight piped with only cats 😆
@@wickedweiner4677 I’m in Cali so most likely will pick up one that has goodies before all the stupid emissions stuff lol, gotta recoup after this motorcycle purchase though 😂
Old?
In 1974 I had a 1969 Mustang 351 CI, Windsor V8 Coupe.
In 2024 (I'm now 70) I have a 1996 4.6l V8 Convertible, as my everyday driver.
Being a *everything* is relevant, I see nothing as old....except me! I cannot get a full restoration though...😔
That coyote sounded good flying by, but once you started driving again I was like “nah this what I want right here” 😂
That gauge cluster is beautiful 😭
Swapped blue lights instead of the stock green ones.

Can you please tell me the precise exhaust set up? Stock manifolds-> off road x -> super 44? it sounds like it.. could be 40 series, though, but this is the sound i am looking for on my '98 cobra

How’d you get the touchscreen in there?
Just a aftermarket head unit I forget the name of it but there are tons out there
Where did you get the shifter boot?
I made it out of some soft foam and I spray painted it blue to match the knob
What’s the shifter and where did u get it?
MGW short throw shifter, and I got it directly from their website.
What fabric is the shift boot?
memory foam!
Shorts could be shorter.
What’s the wheel/tire set up?
SVE series 1 wheels 18x9,18x10 rear(I think) and 245s front 295s rear

Just sold recently, was a '04 pi swap, full bolt on, borg warner 5 spd, 93 dyno tune.

@@CrowdKiller4.6 Sold it because I moved to college, I drive a 6 speed mk6 Golf TDI now, wouldn't necessarily say I regret selling but man do I miss it. I keep looking for the right one on marketplace all day everyday.

Does a short shifter limit your top speed
no, its purely for shortening the throw of the shifts, basically more comfortable/notchy/faster shfiting.

@@grim8511 I personally wouldn't get the v6 but for a good 4.6 you can probably find one for 4-6k I paid 5k for the one in the video.
