    Is that coffin dance bard core edition playing? 😂 The sound turned out pretty good in the end for something cheap from the internet! Nice puttering idle sound. I'm not sure if "puttering" is an adjective but it sounds about right.

    Hey Megan! Max here again! I read online that you can remove one of the baffles of the stock exhaust and keep the other one onto hold your original muffler in place. That way it won't be as quiet, and you'll at least have one baffle on! I can link a video of it if you'd like!

  • @Markus_999
    @Markus_999 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    LoL There's a reason why exhausts sound the way they do and it's because of the filter system in them! And the volume is also banned in some countries...
    Apart from the environmental pollution, your bike would no longer get through traffic controls.
    But for your sound... it depends on how the sound blows through the pipes and each corner of a pipe changes the sound again (like a tuba).
    So you can get lost trying to figure out the best sound.
    But because my researches taking me to the same question, here is my result.
    Competition Werkes - GP Slip On
    SC Project - CR-T Slip On
    SC Project - Twin Conic
    Zard - Zuma Slip-On

    To all the people incorrectly informing people the bike will run worse or lean or you may potentially even damage you're motorcycle? Please go watch RevZilla 2 minute video on should I retune my bike to realize how wrong you are. A slip on isn't going to change all the things you've mentioned. Only changing the pipe design would cause significant changes. At the very most your removing a muffle and adding a smaller one. Not that big of a deal boys bikes have oxygen sensors and ecus now.

    HaHa - that strait pipe sounds evil on the Ducati but wow...... they are loud as F**l. I went with the Termi’s on my Streetfighter. They sound pretty nasty also, but on expensive side for sure. Kind of makes the Ducati sound like a Ducati though 🤷‍♂️❕

      I like it because it reduces a lot of weight. When you ride it in open area with a helmet on it sounds great. On my scrambler desert sled I’m running large bore titanium headers. No extra exhaust tip. Sounds great when you’re racing up a mountain.

  • @CheapskateMotorsports
    @CheapskateMotorsports 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There's the Ebay method and then there's the free method. Apparently one of the previous owners of my bike did something to the stock exhaust so it sounds like its straight piped but still has the giant factory exhaust sticking out. At least with the Ebay one you can swap back to the quiet one whenever you like. Packs of 200 pairs of earplugs are cheap on Amazon though so I ain't complaining.

    Consider getting the bike tuned if you go with that exhaust or another slip-on. If the bike flows too much air , it’ll run lean, and you’ll potentially have overheating issues. A good tune will also give you more power.
    Can you notice the weight change? You have removed a few kilograms.
    I mod my bikes - hang onto all the stuff you take off - put the bolts in a labelled snap lock plastic bag. If you ever sell a stock bike is always worth more than a modded bike.
    Happy trails!

    I predict your bike's performance will suffer now that you have eliminated any back pressure and you will need to remap the engine's fuel management. Cheaper to pick up an aftermarket slip on designed for bike from a major company like SC Project, Arrow, Werkes etc. OR... use the scratched exhaust can as an excuse to buy yourself a new Ducati Monster! Good luck with your mods.

  • @Tom-zu9ge
    @Tom-zu9ge 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    That exhaust is just stupid loud, fun and giggles for about 1 minute, but it will get boring fast, because you will end up prolapsing your ear drums. Not to forget obnoxious to every one else.. Also, with out the silencer and the catalytic converter, the exhaust is wide open, so no backpressure, engine will most likely run lean, not good for the engine in the long run with out retuning the ECU... -Sorry to be all negative, but all that work you did is not an upgrade, it is a massive downgrade to the bikes performance... There are much better options out there if you want to be louder (than everyone else) and/or gain performance..
