- 10. A 5-year-old boy had a smart idea when he was playing hide and seek with his brother. He hid in his mom's car. But mom soon got in it and drove to watch a movie with a friend. The boy was stuck in the car for quite awhile until passersby spotted him and police were called and they took him into custody inside the theater. Meanwhile, the boy's father at home noticed he was gone and messaged mom at the theater, and she left immediately. Then they called police, who informed them their boy was at the movie house. Now THAT was quite a game of hide and seek.

9. An 11-year-old boy didn't want to go to summer camp, so he hid from his parents... on the roof of his house. Police were called in and a search party was formed. The boy was found when a searching helicopter spotted him on the roof of his own home. He was taking a nap.

7. Nick, Harry and Lucas were visiting Zurich and got really bored while their parents were in a restaurant.... because guys at their age get bored extremely easily. So they decided to climb into a into a trash can outside the restaurant. Harry went first. When he got in, the lid was closed. Thing is, when Nick and Lucas opened it back up, Harry... was gone. Harry had stepped into one of those trash cans that when the lid is opened and “trash” put in, the bottom opens up to a large holding area for trash. His dad had to come out and rescue him.

6. In Melksham, England, a five year old boy climbed 20 feet up into a tree and was apparently too scared to come back down. But teachers and staff offered him no help at all because of a school policy which banned them from offering any assistance for “safety” reasons. So all went back inside and only watched him from a distance. Finally, after 45 minutes, a woman passing by seen his troubling situation, climbed the tree and helped him down. However, instead of thanking the woman, the school called police and charged her with trespassing. Wow. If that wasn't a slap in the face, I don't know what is.

When my nephews were small & i would play this gave with them, i thought i knew every hiding place in my home. Nope! Threw the years, 1 hid in a suit case in the hallway surrounded by hampers [that one was the best]. 2. Another hid in the fridge. & my 3rd nephew hid in the pillow case lol. Good times!

This actually happened to me before,
My family got home from grocery shopping and I was the first one in the house.
But since I was tired I lay down on the couch, and since there was no blanket I used the pillows instead.
The thing is; the pillows were 2x as big as I was, and covered my whole body.
So as I was napping, my mom and the police were searching the apartment complex for me.
But then I came out from my nap to see my worried mom and some policemen.

i was playing hide/seek with my 3 boys. my 8 yr old is really skinny. i have a 2 story house, 3500 sq ft. it took me almost 1 hr to find him. i finally found him. we had an ikea tub storage thing in his closet. he slid behind it. i told him if he ever gets scared to hide there. i went room to room 3x trying to find him... i was very impressed.!!

Me, my older brother, my younger brother, my cousin, and my nana decided to play hide and seek.
I was able to hide one round, so I ran to the bathroom where nobody hides.
(Nobody hides there bc the “only spot” is the shower, and that’s obvious.)
There was 2 cabinets. (Low down) They were both filled with bathroom stuff.
I took the stuff out of the left one and put it in the right one, and climbed into the left one.
The person that was the seeker started searched, and found everybody besides me.
They wanted me to stay to see if they could find me. But, a couple minutes later, they gave up.
They asked where I was, and I climbed out quietly.
I tiptoed to them and jump scared them.
They got so scared-
They asked where I was, and I showed them the hiding spot.

When I went to my friend's house (a two floor house with nine rooms), we were playing hide and seek I found a place to hide under his brother's bed behind some wooden boxes. The wooden boxes looked like they were touching the back wall, so when he came looking for me, he assumed I wasn't there. He eventually gave up and shouted out for me to come out of my hiding place - I didn't and he soon called for his two brothers to help, then his two parents and finally my mum. Unfortunately, while his brother was looking for me, a let out a small cough - loud enough to hear and they found me. When I got out, I realized that I'd been hiding for three and a half hours. 🙈🐵
