Thanks for your comment! It´s just a crack in the right prism about 1cm long. You can only see it when you look into the tube from the front. And the camera sees it too. I got the same issue with the EDF by the way (you can see it in the videos). If the binoculars have a problem, I sometimes open them myself and try to repair them. But that rarely happens. Greetings!
Yes. Civilian Swarovski Porros are waterproof with all latest coatings. They’re called Habicht and come in 8x30 and 7x42 / 8 x 42 last time I looked. One of best binocular reviewers on web said they’re the best porro you can buy today, closely followed by Nikon SE.

Do you test other brands which are not German made? I would love to see a BARSKA Battalion series 7x50 model AB11038 and 8x30 Model 11036 rangefinder stadia with like PSO-1 style from a Dragonuv rifle.

And a new one from eden 10x25 for my birthday. Its smal but very good and hd quality. But is not steady you now... Pollux is very ok. Porro type around 80's build. Do you have also experience 10x25? I hope you come one day to Maastricht or the Ardennes. There are beautiful sceneries there. But where you live is wonderful.👍 I am on vacation in Cochem. The Moezel river and wine garden ranks. Es ist eher zum schätzen von Distanz. Man braucht eine bekannte Grösse. Wenn z.B. ein 1,7m grosser Mensch auf der Strichplatte (die in Promille unterteilt ist) zwischen zwei Strichen (=10 ‰) Platz hat, dann ist er 170m entfernt. 1,7m x 1000 : 10‰ = 170m 1,7m 1000 : 5‰ = 340m
