Mark, thanks for showing the "no-sew" resources. I am not a graceful seamstress and I want to make some dolls! Yours turned out adorable. Thanks for the inspiration.
These are so stinking cute! I'll have to make more than one. Imagine taking a box full of these to a children's hospital. I have enough scraps to make one every day for a year. I see some assembly line sewing in my future.
We are offering this as a tweens craft class at the local library during Christmas break next month. I actually saw your blog before I saw your TH-cam video. Your monsters are the cutest ever. Because they are practically no-sew, this is the perfect project for us. I wish you could teach the class for me. LOL
So sweet! Love them! Can make them any size too. I like that your vids are so short. I could watch them all day, but barely have time to watch one, lol, so the 2-5 min ones are great! Thanks
They are super cute... watching you making the tube for the arms and legs reminds me of the time I Stitch all four sides before I stuffed it on a project i was making...lol
Love these!!! They are bigger than I though, I was thinking about 6" or so size when I first saw the picture, lol. I guess you could make them smaller. Such an adorable idea!!!
I love this so much. I already make monsters of my own design to sell in my community and you have just given me a few ideas I've never thought about doing so I thank you Mark.
I have researching doll and rag doll making for the better part of a year and this is the third of these videos I’ve seen in 24 hours. They’ve never come up before. These are so adorable. I have a large bag of fabric scraps- making these would be a perfect use for them. Does the fabric glue hold permanently or does it lift over time?
It's permanent. You can also use hot glue. It works beautifully if you don't want to sew or wait for fabric glue to dry. Just use very thin lines. Give it a try on some scraps first and you'll see what I mean.
YAY Mark!! LOVE them! Working on some zombies right now myself!! Love finding old metal zips in thrift shops....they make the BEST mouths with scary teeth!!!
Such an old video but I still enjoy making these funky dolls Liukah. *I hope you'll follow me on Instagram where I post tons of different content weekly! I'm here: instagram.com/themarkmontano/reels/
One is a glue that you iron and it sticks together, the other is a glue that dries. I used both for this project because it was easier and I could control the outline of the body.
11:10 am from youngsville la. Love your video , but these are my Cooyon Dolls i made . In english cooyon means , crazy . Im trying to swend u a picture but there no camera to send one ..
Hi Lisa, I'm sure your dolls are wonderful! There are so many people who make them and they are all unique and beautiful...and creepy! Just google Monster Dolls and you'll see TONS of them! Have fun!

I had so many zippers.....thought they would be fun to use.
Mark, thanks for showing the "no-sew" resources. I am not a graceful seamstress and I want to make some dolls! Yours turned out adorable. Thanks for the inspiration.
Any time LaLa! I like sewing but I also like alternative ways for people to do things.
These monster dolls are so cute. A creative way to use up all those fabric scraps I have stored away.
You know it! Best way to use those scraps.
These are so stinking cute! I'll have to make more than one. Imagine taking a box full of these to a children's hospital. I have enough scraps to make one every day for a year. I see some assembly line sewing in my future.

MARK!!!! I love this project. I've been wanting to make monster dolls for a long time. I don;t have a sewing machine so this is AWESOME!!!!!
Well now you know how. It's easy and there are no rules.
It would be fun to have your child draw a monster and let them make the decisions on fabric etc. Love the ideas I get here...you're the bomb!
Such an amazing idea Scarlet! I have done a similar thing with my nephews drawings.

You are funny! Tim is the MAN! I love his work so much.
They are super cute... watching you making the tube for the arms and legs reminds me of the time I Stitch all four sides before I stuffed it on a project i was making...lol
That happens sometimes! I've done it myself.......I was so proud of my work until I discovered the mistake.
Lol I know the feeling
Looks like fun to do. I'm going to give it a go! Thanks for the inspiration

I love your Videos!
I love hearing that Katy! Thank you.
Yes! Love them!
Thanks so much Sue!
SO cute!!!! I need to try those no-sew glues! Do they hold pretty well?
They hold very well Trish. I use them all the time.
Hi, I just watched again and have a question. Do I really need both Fabri-Fuse and Stitchless?
One is a glue that you iron and it sticks together, the other is a glue that dries. I used both for this project because it was easier and I could control the outline of the body.
Beautiful!
Glad you like them Zheng!
Love these, I'm going to make these for my boys! 😊😊
I think they will LOVE them and you will be crowned (again) #1 Best Mom in the World.
