Wonderful display on the Ansellia. The Dendrobium blooms are so pretty. Love the jenkinsii.🤩 The nobiles really liked being mounted on the olive tree. They're looking happy. 😊
Thank you Annavoeg, much appreciated ❤️ The Ansellia took much longer to bloom than expected but I am very happy with so many blooms 😃 The nobile are also adapting fine to the tree, not many blooms this first year, hopefully better next time. Hope you are having a great week 💐🥰😘
Good morning Fernanda, thanks for sharing this spectacular video. The flowering of your Ansellina Africana is beautiful and so are the others. 👍👍 Have a nice weekend. Greetings. Manu
Those Orchids are truly beautiful and enchanting...I love it.. 💕💕💕 Thank you for sharing your great collection of Orchids...Dear Fernanda. ❤❤❤ Good wishes to you and family.
Really enjoyed watching your lovely video. Really hope you are well and having a great Saturday and weekend. A big thumbs up from Chris and Jane ✨️ 🎈 🎉 👍🏻
Thank you very much, Chris and Jane, I really appreciate your comment. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and may the start of the week be fantastic 💖💖💖💖
well worth the three year wait, it looks amazing and so do your Dendrobiums, you have a lot of beautiful blooms to enjoy! A wonderful reward for all your work!
Waiting seems to be the key word with orchids but you are right, it tastes better when the blooms reward our care. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for being here, Denise 💖😍💖
WOW Fernanda :-D your big Ansellia africana is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, I LOVE the Leopard print blooms, and beautiful stunning yellow blooms on your Dendrobium jenkensii, and WOW with your Dendrobium aphyllum and the beautiful cascading blooms, and WOW with your Dendrobium Starburst packed full of golden blooms, and all your other Orchids are stunning too, thats so wonderful your old 'Stardust is recovering with new growth, thanks so much for sharing the amazing up date with us Fernanda, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Hans and me to Portugal for a wonderful weekend XXXX
Thank you my dear Lyn for such a wonderful comment. Plants are so rewarding of our love and care and when they give up it's because they have a good reason. Even so, they never disappoint. Much love to you and Hans hoping you are already having a fantastic SUNday 😍😍💖💖
Bom dia Fernanda.
Congratulations, amiga mia 🎉🙌🏼😍 Ansellia first time bloomer, jenkinsii 😍 aphyllum 🎉😍 love your unicum hybrid 😍 i love clematis as well! Stardust is an amazing hybrid! I love the blooms so much and wow, look at the little growths 🥰 Fingers crossed that it will behave like my zombie rhizome and make a complete comeback ❤ hope you are having a fantastic day 🤗❤
I was very disappointed last year when they Ansellia did not bloom but now, looking at the differnce in the canes's size I understand why. I wonder how much bigger she is going to get 🤣 Not all Dens are doing well. My unicum went to sleep last summer and still nada. But I am very happy about the anosmum. Being happy with what I've got is my motto now. Much love and good night 😍😍😍😍
Ansellia have become my favorite genus. All my plants survived the torture of the last terrible months, even my pure yellow one. Love all your blooms, plants grow well there.
Hi Marc, Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated 🥰 Orchids are indeed very sensitive. Torture is the exact word for some orchids when the have to move or be repotted. Very happy with my Ansellia although it is even bigger than I thought. When the seller said it is a compact grower I thought it would be also a smaller type. Still no new growths and in vew of last year's huge canes I wonder how large will be this year's 😃
Vá lá a gente entender 😵💫
stunning blooms Fernanda😊. That Ansellia looks like a select clone, the flowers are very nice and your jenkinsii is gorgeous. My little jenkinsii is in bud, I hope they don't blast, it never bloomed successfully for me
Hi Justin 👋 I have been lucky with my jenkinsii, it always did well. I cannot say the same from its cousin aggregatum/Lindley which has been stalling since 2019. I still have not figured out why 😵💫 I hope your jenkinsii blooms will open nicely and make you happy. My Ansellia is a particular clone made to be compact and so I never thought it would grow so big 😃 But I am very happy with it, anyway. Have a great rest of the week 💐🥰🥰
Hi Fernanda, great blooms video, love a.africana! The blooms are gorgeous and yours have lovely colours. You've done very well with ,4 spikes! Does it have fragrance? I love your d.jenkensii, so beautiful! Thanks for sharing and happy growing 😊
Hi Mary, thank you. So far I have not notice a real fragrance from the Ansellia blooms. I read somewhere they cast a sweet smell at night but I always forget to check it out. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for for being here 😍💖😍
That Dendrobium jenkinsii looks amazing! And of course the Ansellia africana as well. The one you sent me is with my partner and the newest growth is developing really well. Also congratulations on how the plants on the tree are developing!!!!
Too bad the blooms of jenkinsii are so short lived but they are really amazing. On the other hand, the Ansellia blooms are still looking magnificent and with and exotic smell, maybe fragrances from África 😃 Happy weekend 🥰😘
@@MattbyNature To me it smells like a weed but with a freshl hint but nice. Nina asked me if I could detect a "dusty road kind of smell? Like when driving on a road that has no tarmac and that fine sandy powder smell comes in through the window on a warm day? With a hint of sugar?" She is fantastic at describing smells although not everyone gets the same impressions when it comes to fragrances...
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids oh, wow! That sounds so interesting. I think I know exactly what you mean. But it’s not the kind of “petrichor” scent that you get when it rains after a longer period of dry weather, right?
I do have the Chiyomi but not the name yet! So thank you 😅 and I also grow the rainbow dance. It might start to grow multiple new canes for you and become bigger soon. Some are good growers I found. And with your care, it should be a success! ❤ they look happy. And maybe your first Chiyomi wasn’t a strong plant to begin with….
Until last year, when I found the fluffy scale in between the sheaths that link the leaves to the stem, I was very proud of my chiyomy because, although an easy plant to find over here, I hear a lot of complaints about growing this orchid successfully. I would not say it was a very vigorous plant but it was ok and I loved it. Let's see how things progress, that is part of the fun. Have a wonderful weekend, Eelke 💖💖💖
I have a big variety Anselia from Kenya, it has been in a bad mood ever since I did a bit too much root pruning 😒It did make four new canes but they all failed due to top rot. I hope it will pick up coming summer when it can go outside again
Hi Ynse!!! A big variety? wow, it should get to a monster size. It is nice to see some orchids grow large for a change. I hope it recovers well now and that the new growing season will give it a boost. Thanks for letting me know that Ansellias might not like the root trimming. I never did it but it could cross my mind in the future. What I did last year was give it a larger pot 💖💖💖
@@FernandaNascimentoOrchids It's not even my largest orchid that would be the Grammatophylum 😁and after seeing how large they get I kinda regret buying it 🤣the largest cane is almost twice the size of the Anselia (but a very slow grower)
Olá amiga bom dia ! Mas que lindo vídeo ! Você tem razão em estar feliz ! Tantas florações por aí ! Tão bom ! Beijinhos !
