So weirdly, barring the ritual boy I had a lot of fun using only extra deck summoned skulls via virtual world... average virtual world deck, honest

It's like something you'd find in a lovecraftian mythos or horror story - someone wishes for power, gets it, and they can't handle it.

I think this might be the first time anyone has ever made Locomotion R-Genex, and by extension seen their summon animation. Shoutout to it being able to miss timing if you used Acc in response so anything.
Also as someone who's favourite pokemon is Regigigas and loved Loco as a kid, I feel specifically called out.
Locomotion is such a cool card. Played it in a weird VW deck once. Also played it when Bystials first dropped since Birdman + Bystial makes him.
That Evil Eye Duel was just peak canon, real lore.
As someone who used to main Prophecy/Spellbooks back in the day, seeing that HUGE old man just beatdown skystrikers was so cathartic :)
Yeah but, that Striker Player literally threw EVERY chance they had to beat Spellbook, also doesnt help Spellbook didn't play optimally

The Summoned Skull turbo is amazing
I played against an evil eye player recently and saw a funny but interesting play, so they were at 400 life with a massive atk link 3 with both the eye equips. They activated an evil eye effect so I thought “well they die all good” they then used mystic wok on their link leaving me to pause and go “wtf?”

Yep! Mystic Wok is an Insane Card! Basically restarts the Life point pool with some Crazy Advantage plays! Especially if your deck uses Life Points as a measure for Effect Gains.
ngl, Spellbook control looked neat. Just sit on what is effectively a Spellbook version of Gran Maju and protect the asshole. Worst case get him to lvl 30+ and just tribute him with something like Dark Strike Fighter for huge burns.
So many war crimes and ptsd moments in a single episode,just amazing

I'm so happy we got the replay update. These recent videos have been awesome.
I made it in a Danny vid! My replay is the spellbook one, I'm glad people enjoyed it, even though I played quite suboptimally (in my defense, my jank account is on my Xbox and controller's are weird).
Fun fact: the decklist has 3 temperance targets - Marionette for funny big number, Mythical Beast Cerebus for a negate, and OG Endymion for removal.

That Hermit Control build of Spellbooks was hilarious. Didn't help matters that was the worst Sky Striker deck build I've seen in ages of coming up with my own, and was only surpassed in awful by how horribly it was played.
I can respect that the spellcasting deck is actually just Unga Bunga big numbers go bigger
