I love Yu-gi-oh because the ever so often, you see cards that no one has ever thought about before doing something incredibly broken because Konami said "Why would we need to put OPT on this card? What are they gonna do, summon it twice?"
Its actually just because the card predates the hard once per turn

When I was but a young lad, Mazera was my favourite card....that I never actually summoned (I didn't understand yugioh I just thought the cards looked cool). Making this deck and finally using it after all these years was an amazing feeling, thanks for showing it!

Understand it took a lot of attempts to get this replay, getting the double required not only execution but a lot of luck too. It's not a linear combo.
It could probably be further optimized to try and summon Mazera once and lean more heavily into the magikey cards for disruption. A lot of cards like snow and theo could be cut if you wanted to make the deck 'more playable' as a real strategy. I tunnel visioned the replay so I didn't really experiment with it, but don't expect this deck to be anything more than a gag deck that can steal 1 in 10 games.@@krystallinekris

Hi, I'm the HERO player from 4:21. I had no clue my duel made it onto YT, this was the best gift for myself 7 months later! And yes, the opponent pitched "Lava Golem" to use "Forbidden Droplet" when it would have won them the game. This game do be wacky.
Whenever I see a magikey in the replays, I ask myself, which heinous normal monster support will I get presented this time.

Starting strong, this reminds me that Hasher Brown is hosting Edison Format tournaments constantly and you can see some goated matches over there. I just hope any of the players are subbed to you so they can share their piece.

Luke was technically not wrong.
Neos Fusion is also probably the most balanced fuse from deck spell card in the TCG / OCG. Can’t special summon after using it, so it has a choke point, but it gives the Fusion 1 free destruction protection if Neos Fusion is the GY. Very balanced.
@@theomnigamer9177 he was wrong, after activating Neos fusion, he said "we aren't gonna special summon much" when in reality, you can't special at all afterwards
@@theomnigamer9177 although, i wouldn't say best balance, since you can make any board you want, and end on it, and have a free protected fusion. Since it uses material from the deck. Red eyes fusion has too hard a restriction.
@TimothyGod I would agree with you if the all the targets for Neos Fusion were good and half the targets didn’t return to the extra deck during the end phase.
Prior to Neos Kluger, the only ones worth bringing out were Brave Neos and Rainbow Neos. And with Rainbow Neos, you have to run Rainbow Dragon (or Neos if playing Crystal Beasts). Neos Kluger requires one to run Yubel as well and Neos Wiseman if you want its full potential. Armed Neos is using an Armed Dragon, and you’re only running that with more HEROES in the Extra Deck.
Just because I say best balance doesn’t mean it is particularly great in terms of the overall game. I’m just referring to how it works in comparison to other fuse from deck spells.
As one who plays both Neos and HERO, I will say Fusion Destiny is way more powerful but it wasn’t made with DPE in mind. Neos Fusion if played outside of the intended decks (and the intended decks depending the Fusion Monsters), you will be playing bricks. More so than other fusion spells. Rainbow Neos, Yubel, Neos, and maybe Armed Dragon.

Big respect to Red Mage for using Metal Armored Bug, he was one of my classic yugioh cards that I considered one of my boss monsters in my pile of a deck as a kid. Only thing left to see is Tyhoon #2, my first ever card over level 4, being used, but I did hear once that it was an important card in Hazy Flames in the past so maybe one day I will.

Ashtartu is such a cool design, but unfortunately you have to jump through so many hoops to summon it in its own deck. And the magikey monsters you would make it with are individually often more useful than him. Why can't you just rank up the vespartu into him? Would that have been to strong? I don't think so

I just want a format that runs pre-errata versions of cards, part of the trouble with running historic or unlimited formats in MD is the complete lack of pre-erratas. Can' t do Chaos Format with the neutered CED, and the first ever OCG Exodia format just isn't the same without a Sangan and Witch that float when sent to GY from hand.

Yeah tbh fairy player misplayed. Should’ve held shining angel to get value out of fader, caius and torrential, and simplify the gamestate to where your recruiter lines can control the game.
Also summoning dim alch with nothing banished is pretty greedy, as we saw the torrential was forced and the alch got no value.
Fairy’s matchup against sacred beast is pretty solid thanks to DD warrior lady and kristya and the opener was solid so just kinda threw the game tbh. Dunno why they even played into the common sacred beast geonator line it’s been known about since it topped an early RBET tourney so really just a skill issue.
Stop jorkin to dimensional alchemist and start jorkin it to some optimal fairy lines

6:17 I’ve played the Red guy quite a few times, it’s a bot that can control what it draws. Whatever you play, it either has the counter in hand or will draw it and always has maxx c/ash blossom on first hand. I’m glad this is being shown to wider audience because there ARE cheaters/cheating bots

That was 100% not a bot, I'm pretty sure you're on peak copium here, the bots are never this elaborate, using Sunya is extremely far outside the design any of them use because it requires far more situational awareness then reasonable, the bots are meant to go fast, Numeron OTK into Sit Still And Die is fast, Play The Actual Game is not
