This is almost identical to a build I did earlier this year. Same card, same motherboard, same case. But dang, you went wild with the ram lol😂 It's been a great living room gaming PC that looks so good!
Love the build. I have a similar build Terra n black. But I have used the 7800X3D with an AXP90-X47 FC with a Noctua A9x14HS Fan swap. Also I have a Noctua A12x15 PMW Chromax slim fan on the bottom set to exhaust.
awesome video! Inspired me to get my new setup with the ryzen 9 9950x with the 4070 Ti Super with this same case :) Thanks for the insightful video! :)
Thank you so much! Awesome! I'm curious of the temps you will get with the 9950X inside this case, are you planning the same thermalright cooler ? I just completed a build using that 9950x cpu and a D12L and that thing likes to produce some serious heat. But it's really impressive for 3D rendering, about twice as fast as my 7900, even faster with PBO on.
@ hahaha awesome. Yeah plan to use the same cooler. Maybe I will install another fan at the bottom perhaps? But ya let’s see haha. As long as it doesn’t cook up :)
@@smallrtech awesome. Yeah im still a little nervous about the build, still waiting for the parts to arrive. I hope the 9950x doesnt get too crazy hot. With PBO hopefully that will help and a temp limit perhaps of 85c What temps did you get on your terra setup?
Nice build, identical to mine before I switched cases due to the noise the CPU cooler generate with the side panels. It is just too loud and the lack of negative pressure within the case makes it nothing but look.
@@AKA_TY37 I do have a IS 55 that arrived recently in the mailbox, I'll do a side by side comparaison because I feel like the IS 55 is a better option, especially with this cpu!
@@smallrtech The lowest noise low profile air cooler is the Noctua L12S, which fits an extremely tight fit for RAM and stuff, but your mb should work, considering you have similar parts as I do. But still, during intense rendering/gaming or benchmarking, the temp goes high, and the noise is just too much. (Opening the side panel on the CPU side just limits 80% of the winding noise.) I've compared side by side with a T1 build with same 7800x3d, using APX90x47 Full Cooper, lower temp, way less noise. And compare to my new Case (aio with A4h20) night and day differences. Just some info to share. Fractal baited me well with this case NGL.
@@AKA_TY37 Yeah, for me the problem with most Terra videos is that they never mention the turbulence that comes with any cooler except the L12s/Ghost/x77. I feel they set people up for failure when people follow the build but find themselves unexpectedly trying to figure out how to quiet down their fan. This is something that usually isn't mentioned in the video itself.
Very nice build. But do I get this right, there's no mesh on the case? Damn,I have 2 cats and I feel without the mesh within a year it will turn into a total mess there.
Do you think the passive fan state of the PSU might be a hinder to more airflow? I was just thinking if a non passive PSU version would be better for the total airflow. There is no temp tests in this video so it's hard to tell. But hands down, what a build, it looks really good!
Thanks! Honestly the temps are quite cool already, that CPU cooler is overkill for a 7900 non X so everything is pretty manageable. I wonder on a more powerful build if that psu fan have a great impact on cooling and airflow, good question! I'll add thermals in future videos if I have time to build something in the nexts weeks.
This is easily one of the best SFF builds that I've ever seen! May I ask how's the 96gb of RAM running? is everything smooth? I was also planning of doing these new "non-binary" RAMs (maybe 48gb) but I think I'll end up doing the traditional 64gb lol
Thermals are excellent, noise levels are good, but my advice would be to switch that AXP120 for a IS55, so there is a bit less turbulence noise from the side panel being close from the fan.
@@ankayu1804 you should tighten screws until you can't. If you use the included screws it just mechanically stops, then you have to really really push hard to tighten and this would be too much. just don't force.
How is your gpu coil whine? I just did my new build with same card and it's slightly annoying to me. Not terrible but definitely there. Also... how was your peel experience with card because I noticed you left it out O_o. It took me 10 minutes to peel the plastic off. WTF ASUS
Absolutely no coil whine yet, maybe I'm lucky.. but I agree that peeling part was painful lol, I tried to do it clean for the video.. impossible haha, I had to cut it off. I feel the pain.
The new Apple Mac Mini M4 is the best "SFF build" out right now. The rest of these cases are dinosaurs in size. Looking forward to APUs next year that compete with doscreet GPUs. I want small powerful computing.
Imma save this for my upcoming Terra build. Great video!

Will youe CPU cooler and fan support a Ryzen 9 9900X? Do you think you would be able to also fit a 4090 FE with this setup?
I don't think a 4090 FE is a good fit for this case, the 9900X will work but might throttle on long and heavy loads like 3D rendering.

This is the type of build i love the small factor but i just cant afford any of the stuff you put in
Really nice and clean build, deserves more views. What temps are getting on that 7900?
Thank you mate!
It's pretty cool, hitting 70C-72C in full load, actiavting PBO bring temp to the 90C mark but performance is improving substantially!
Now that i was sent here by youtube. What are the temps and benchmarks on this ? I am looking to build this exact pc but with a rx7900xtx instead :D
Pretty good temps, if you don't plan using PBO you will not go over 70C in full load for the cpu...

@smallrtech thanks for the fast reply. Switching to ID-55, wouldn't you lose the fan "sandwich", decreasing the cooling?
do you have a 3d printed ram holder? If so please send me the link as I have been inspired by your video to copy your build. It looks gorgeous

thanks! I took them from a regular NF a12x15 fan
