i have this, and none of my music will burn onto the cds. it either gives me an error while burning, or completes the burn and the cd stays blank. not sure if this is a problem with the drive or not but id like to figure it out
Thank you for watching! I was actually able to burn music that's in my laptop into a blank CD. I supposed it is possible that you may have a faulty unit, or it could be the blank CD needing formatting first, or It may also be possible that the music is not allowed to be transferred. Sometimes when you buy music/audio files that's downloaded directly to your laptop/device from the store, the author does not allow for that content to be moved/copied. There is an embedded program in the file itself that's making it nearly impossible to transfer/copy/burn. You could try returning the unit if you still have time for a replacement, or try changing the format on how it is burn/saved into the blank CD....mp3, mp4, etc.

As a disc burner, the Gotega is crap. But I wanted one to play DVD movies and it works great!

Very long to burn a cd, like between 30-45 minutes and most of the time I haver errors.
That is interesting. Mine is beginning to read slow. I had to remove the DVD once, or twice before it shows me the movie. It didn't do that before.
This drive is garbage do not buy.
So far it is doing the job that I bought it for....mostly playing DVD.
