I updated my TW and it became Micro OS after that, It also blocked my TW repository. After it switched to micro os my boot time became twice as long, my DE got glitchy...... yeah, right....
My knowledge is that Tumbleweed has not been replaced by MicroOS. You probably installed the incorrect operating-system, which caused the incompatibility that you have described.
It's different from Silverblue. Silverblue based on OSTree and it using image-based system and MicroOS taking advantage of BTRFS and snapshot (so basically it's Tumbleweed with read-only root).
Yeah, I've been Tumbling for the past 2 years and there is no going back. ;-))

I just started using Tumbleweed a few months ago and rarely use my other laptop running Leap.
@@p7272 did you know that it's possible to switch a Leap system to become a Tumbleweed distro?
