I’ve been watching back to back videos that you’ve made! I love, love, love that you encourage not using a pattern, not always pinning, showing seams etc. Love the wearable art that you make! So inspiring!
I can’t believe I found this video! I watch several of your videos each day, but was really excited to find this one!! I’m buying a blanket with black and white faces all over it and making it into a coat!!
You are my hippie boho creative muse. Thank for being here to inspire me to create all of the ideas in my head. My mother left me with years of fabric, sewing supplies and patterns. I am too much of a free spirit Artist to abide by the rules now. Can't wait to create clothes with you! ✌️❤️🧵🪡
Thank goodness you are back. I’ve been checking everyday for a new tutorial. I have made your bags, t-shirts, and patched jeans. Now I guess I’ll be thrifting blankets 😉. Hope your trip was awesome. As a matter of fact I’m in our RV right now and have enjoyed sewing on my little featherweight while camping. Looking forward to your next video.
This is amazing I have so many clothes blankets and stuff from my sweet husband who passed 2018 And watching you has inspired me to make things and give them away to our children. Thank you for sharing this with me
I thrifted 1 blanket today and bought 2 on sale for 8$ each at Ross and I found some awesome fringe..I'm so excited to get started on these!! Thank you for the great tutorials..and YES, you were missed.
Oh my gosh Tracy just when I think you can’t do something even cuter and more adorable you amaze me! Love these ponchos jackets. Such great ideas wow amazing! Love, love, love these!
I just love her. She sees like I do. I don't like the measure. I just like to cut it and stick it together. And put it under the machine... But I really have not upcycled anything and I have wanted to. This is the fourth video of hers that I have watched and boy I am so ready. I was a 2-yard sale this morning getting fabric. I've washed it all and got some thoughts in my head and I have an Indian kind of looking blanket!! I really want to thank you for these videos
Ma préférée c'est la dernière et pourtant je n'aime pas le vert pour les vêtements...😃 Félicitations pour vos créations qui sont à chaque fois époustouflantes.... belle journée.
TRACY MY FRIEND I MISS YOU!!!!!! SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!!!! MY NOTIFICATION WAS SOME HOW TURN OFF AND I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD A NEW POST. SO OF COURSE I CHECK TO SEE AND THERE YOU WERE 💃💃💃. WAS I HAPPY 😁. I KNOW IT WAS WONDERFUL TO BE WITH YOUR GRANDBABIES. BEING A GRANDPARENT IS THE BEST JOB EVER❤️😊🥰. NOW ABOUT THIS WONDERFUL TUTORIAL. YOU MY FRIEND ARE ON FIRE 🔥. THESE JACKETS WRAPS ARE AMAZING. I'M SO READY TO MAKE THEM. IM NOT ONE FOR COATS. THIS WORKS FOR ME. I DON'T HAVE A FAVORITE. I LOVE THEM ALL. AND YOU STYLE THEM UP SO VERY NICELY. YOU LOOK AMAZING. I'M NEVER DISAPPOINTED. I AM HAPPY YOU'RE BACK FRIEND💃💃 🤗
Well, now I know what I'm making my for both of my daughters for make-mas (Christmas) this year! They both LOVE blankets and expect one every year, but since this year we decided on one purchased gift and one made gift, they can still get a blanket!!! So glad you're back too! My youngest granddaughter likes to watch your tutorials with me during snuggle time on Sunday mornings when she has sleep overs! So Jupiter says welcome back Ms. Myers we missed you ❤
When you're sewing little flimsy pieces together (like those adorable sunglasses for the cat), you can glue the pieces down with a school glue stick to keep them from slipping around. The glue will wash out because it's water soluble, and it shouldn't gum up your needle as long as the glue is dry when you sew. I use spray glue basting for quilting, and I haven't had a gummed up needle yet. Very cute jackets!
Thank you for the inspiration, I have a pile of fleece blankets that never sold in my shop and now I know what to do with them. What Blessing you are. I hated sergers until I found the Juku serger that threads itself - after that I LOVE my serger and wouldn't start a sewing project without it.
I’m always amazed how leopard print goes with EVERYTHING. Those sunglasses on the cat are inspired. I would be tempted to copy mine. I love these tutorials, I’ve been watching them back to back, no housework getting done in this house! 😊 That fringing on the third jacket… you are a dedicated thrifter!😮😅
Greetings from Lewisville NC! Im sewing the top I saw in the background of your work space. Its white and has a right to left high-low hem line. Im using a sleeveless pullover blouse with lace yoke... added lacy cap sleeves, doilies and lace trim. Thanku so much for encouraging us! Lavoie Boho NC USA 2023
Omg 😱 I’m in looooove with this and because we’re coming into summer here in Australia I can thrift blankets really cheap. I’ve put my daughter onto your videos too and she loves as much as me, 😍
Oh Traci, what a beautiful dress. It’s made with love for a wonderful day, it’s better than any $15k designer dress. You look happy and gorgeous on your Big Day. It was perfect for your wedding- just perfect. I wish you nothing but happiness. Xxx😊
So happy to have found your channel, such wonderful ideas. I am not much of a sewer but would you have inspired me to dust off my machine and try to reinvent my stash of old blankets. Appreciate your sharing so very much :))
How do you read my mind! I’ve had this granny square blanket that I want to make into a long duster and I’ve been trying to figure out how to do it! Thank you! Missed your videos!!!
These are so fun. Wish I had a kitty blanket. :-) I have some yardage of black minky with metallic stars on it. Thinking I will be making me a poncho style cape. I get cold in restaurant's. So fun. Thank you. Carol
You’re my muse! Bravo! Charmingly! Как же мне нравится всё, что ты придумываешь и делаешь своими руками! Ты неиссякаемый источник фантазий и большой художник-эстет
Love what you do with throw blankets, i have alot of them laying around. Dont have a big table to work on tho. I will def. Make it work. That is so cute !!! All the ponchos you made !!!
Finally you are back 🎉yay! Hope you had a wonderful time with your grand babies ❤. Ok I love all 3 I think my fav is the Last one but I liked at the end when you had the first one on and it was even on both sides. Well done my dear well done!! 👏 👏👏👏👏👏
Ta Daaaa! More amazing upcycles, you never fail us. Thank you so much for sharing your tutorials. Taking the mystery out of upcycling. I look forward to any new inspirations you share.
I'm so glad your video popped up. I love the boho style and always wrapped blankets around when cold. I love your ideas so far, the whimsy look or hippie look. The 70's were my time. Love your jackets! Especially the last one! Great ideas to keep warm instead of just wrapping a blanket round when it's very cold living inside a stone house! :)
Wow, you are a genius artist - I love how fearless you are. So inspiring! I love the blanket projects, and your heart T-shirt is so cute too. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with all of us ❤❤❤
The last one could have a slot on the waist to pull the belt through and make it wraparound. Would look cool. As a lifelong hippie, love what you’re doing.
Great ideas. I love the material of the second one! I make them from fleece and throws. I cut up front and round out neckline a bit so it doesnt have a corner up at neck. I make a button and elastic loop under the arms to control it if wanting a kimon shaped jacket. I dont sew sidews but use elastic and button (on inside) to join as a sleeve so you can throw own side over like a wrap. Has a name like Regla or something. I make tab button loops and buttons on front. I usually round out my corners which gives me fabric for loops but can use elastic. I hem all around the neckline too. If a one way pattern cut in half across shoulders and flip the back side up side down to make it right side up when wearing. I was given some fleece that had branches and birds and fruit on it so on the back they were upside down. Ive also with a plaid throw on thinner side cut off what would be the sleeves and sewed then back on the short side as Tshape. Basically straigt sewed the ends with centers matched up to center sholders to keep the longer sleeve with a not too short body because Im a bit plus sized. With the separate fleece you could cut the hem off too ver clise to stitching then sew the two pieces right sides together leaving an opening in bottom back, turn to correct sides and whip stich the opening closed. To encase all the raw edges.
Wow! How do you think of all these cool creations? I love the second one so much! The pocket and button ideas are so cool!!! I’m hoping if I just keep watching your videos some of this magic will sink into my soul. 🤗🙌💖
I just discovered you and I am completely obsessed.
Awww!! Thank you so much for being here!!!🤗💞💞💞💞💞
I’ve been watching back to back videos that you’ve made! I love, love, love that you encourage not using a pattern, not always pinning, showing seams etc. Love the wearable art that you make! So inspiring!

When I have small to downright tiny pieces to applique, I use a glue stick to adhere my pieces down then sew them on. They don't shift or effect the fabrics in any negative way. The glue stick washes out when you launder the piece. 😊 Easy-Peasy. Hope this helps.
That helps a ton! I'm putting a glue stick on my list!🤗💞💞💞
