On move 121 was excited that I would have played the same move as Xu Haohong and then my excitement was immediately crushed by you saying it was a blunder.
Sheesh what a game ! Kinda sad for my buddy ke jie, he often make thoses endgames misjudgements that cost what he played for. Still he's the ultimate tesuji player, and I would love to see some of his most beautifuls game commented by you. Great work !
Amazing video, really great commentary. It's the first time I have seen one of your videos. I subscribed and I'm thrilled to see more. Questions: 1. What software do you use for the board? It looks beautiful. 2. What is your strength in terms of official rating? I might be interested in working with you. At my peak I was around 2 dan EGF ( i was never officially rated though), but after a long absence from go I am now probably around 1dan or 1kyu. I would love to get a bit more serious again and finally get an official rating for once. 30$ an hour does sound quite reasonable.
I use Just Go (a game on Steam) for my board, and GLAT for the effects (more info in description). My official rating is currently AGA 5dan, but I don't get many opportunities to play over the board tournaments and bring it up. Watch some more videos and if you'd like to try lessons send me an email at telegraphgo@gmail.com
just remembered go while watching some chess videos, so I looked it up and your channel came up, so now I'm watching question that I have is, do you have some kinda "basics about how to play go" videos on your channel or something so I can learn more about what any of these moves actually mean and what the logic behind them is?
I don't have anything on my channel, but only because there are many great channels out there doing it better than me! Go Magic is the best right now, in my opinion, but Micheal Redmond has a good series as well.
Shin Jin Seo decided to prove this channel wrong with the actual insane tournament run of literally murdering everyone without even giving them a chance(except Gu Zihao)
ke jie claims to "like territory" and yet plays 4-4 in the top left instead of the tried and true cho chikun favourite 3-3 opening, insufficient committment to territory no wonder he lost

I had the same feeling. However, hearing that a brilliant counter was needed to make a blunder took some sting out of the mistake.
If your opponent can't find the refutation, then it's not a blunder
I like that you take your time to provide such quality content. And what a game! What a series! Can't wait...wait...will gladly wait for another one!
Your game reviews are so amazing. Can't wait for more Blood and Tears!
Wow -- what a match! Xu Haohong's style is so exciting to watch, and your commentary brings it to life on the board. This series was simply awesome.

Is the series already outdated after Nongshim cup? 😅
