    One of these may be my next purchase. I recently bought one of Peter Bogar's Assyrian bows (44lb) and that is my current favourite, weighs nothing but shoots hard and straight, I can only recommend the bows from Bogar Archery I can't make anyone buy one but you should !

    A true goldie! A proofed design and build - nothing to worry about! ☺️
    I‘m very much looking forward to the comparison of this and the 14 year old turkish bow - that will be interesting to see! 👍
    Thank you so much for the very nice review, Armin! 👏

    Amazing bow after amazing bow ... well done Armin. Yet another aspirational bow. How sweet is this look for the bow honey coloured wood for a honey of a bow.

    bought this bow a few month back, it is an amazing bow and just fun to shoot with, love it. It´s (still) free shipping to Germany, with paypal it was 313€ total and shipping took only 2 days. Peter Bogars shop is great!

    A Turkish bow that draws 33", that's a rare sight. An awesome bow for sure

      That is because thi s is not a short but a "very long" bow with 125cm string / 53" NTN lengths compared to the "short" Turkish bows.

    Something I have noticed about Vegh bows is that they have much milder curves than the historical bows they are replicating. The working part of the limb seems larger as well, which is probably how the draw length is achieved, but to me it just looks a bit wrong. I love when a small Turkish bow has more curvature.

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe yes, but as you said the draw is smoother and the durability way better :)

    I also bought a assyrian from Peter. What a great bow.! And I am already thinking about buying the next one which might be the Turkish or Tatar. If you compare the Assyrian vs this Turkish which one would be your favorite?

    I was thinking for a long time about buying a second bow. Couldn't decide between Freddie archery korean bows and this one. Many sleepless nights :D But after this review I think I just made up my mind - Végh it is. I'll probably make a roadtrip and pick it up in person(hopefully it's possible). Thank you Mr. Hirmer.

      It should be possible. Just make an appointment with Peter Bogár in Slovakia and make sure, they will have your desired bow and poundage in stock.
      Warning: there is a considerable risk of coming back over and over again for more bows! 🤣🤣🤣

    Hi Armin.. that's a really nice video dan bow.. I'm really interested in this bow.. but just wanna ask, how do u get the scale GPP of 9.2 and 6.7 preferences for the arrow testing? and another Q what is your opinion by end of this review for this bow about its vibration? does it affect its shooting performance or it might improve by over time with a lot of shooting practices.. my personal opinion is, a bow might need some period of time (frequent shooting) so that it will get to its best performance..

    • @ArminHirmer
      @ArminHirmer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. It’s the arrow weight in grain divided by the draw weight of the bow. Let’s say you have a 400gr arrow and the bow has 40# the arrow has 10gpp. The vibration might even go away after some hundred shots
