NAILED IT!!! 😂😂😂. 👏👏👏 thanks for watching! The Merced River fishes great all times of the day above Vernal & Nevada Falls. Yosemite Valley fishing turns on about an hour before the sun goes behind the valley walls (which is way before sunset time). Have a great time!!!
@@myotherlinefishing appreciate the info. I'm coming through Tioga pass work my way down to the valley. Still new to fly fishing so I'm bringing my bfs setup as backup too.
Great Video! i will are going at the end of September for a week long trip. this video helped out very much as i actually have the mutant rod and a very similar fly fish rod as well! can't wait. thanks for the great tips
Thank you! It’s funny, I hear that a lot. Tons of people, including when I am there fishing, tell me that they had no idea you could fish in the national park like that. They have weird rules for each body of water and each river so I just by default always use barbless hooks and always release the fish. But there are lots of places you can keep the fish if you want to. Go to the spots in the video. Those are my “go to” places. I wanted to try May Lake but didn’t have time. Also, below Hetch Hetchy dam I hear has big Browns. Good luck! Thanks again for watching!
Lol 2:45 was that a reference to family guy?
Awesome video btw. Gonna be my first fly fishing trip in that neck of the woods next month.

Great video my man! Never knew you could fish in Yosemite, got any good spots to try in there? Just did the Nevada Falls hike a few months ago.
