The result is chip war was a irreversible mistake That pushed China into market dominance.

The way their economy and society is laid out does not allow for efficient research and development. But it failed to mention that Taiwan total GDP was 30% plus of the Mainland's in 1990's. Just in short 30 years, Taiwan only counts 4% of the Mainland China's GDP. It is going to be a less and less significant factor to counter China. Let's put this way: Taiwan does not have s chance, with or without the US, winning a war against China.
