    Omg thanks bro you've convinced me to get one of these....sounds are amazing and I'm hearing beats while hearing these gorgeous sounds

      I would say go for. It beats everything even a PC4. The only thing that can compete is a Montage and Kronos but it has the edge on both of those when it come to good sounds and daw is integration.

    You just sold me on the K2700. I’m going to wait until after namm but I’m loving the sound of the kurzweil. It will be perfect with my MPC. Thank you bro

      I purchased it for $2500 and it was so dope it replaced my K2600, kurzweil PC3 and PC4. The more I learn about it and get sound libraries for it the better it gets. It’s going to wind up replacing my Yamaha Moxf for the band I produce and supply the keyboardist with. It might even replace my k2500 if it wound up running the old K sounds better. This thing saved me a lot of money and space. Im doing a part 2 video of it in about 2 weeks with more sounds and functions.

      @@g-soul4771 looking forward to the video, bro... And my income tax return... Lol
      I think hip-hop beat makers are really sleeping on this. It sounds so much better than the Montage, Kronos and Fantom imho. I have a feeling we're going to see a new Korg and Yamaha workstation next month. So I'll hold off until then. But right now the K2700 is definitely my choice.

      @@jackbauer1805 Old school hip hop producers didn’t sleep on them. The K2500 back to in the day. Dj quil used it for the whole safe and sound cd and the RZA used it for the whole Wu tang forever cd. 2 PAC most common producer used it too. 90’s rap producer use to use them as an alternative for moogs, Rolands and ASR Samplers. Nowadays they even sleep on korg, Roland and Yamaha.

    This is a very good demo. I get bored of those only showing pianos and organs. Thanks!.

    Most excellent dude-about time someone showed the variety of sounds on offer - instead of the usual Piano and Organs selection!

      Yes, even though it has good keys. It also has good instrument sounds and a good synth engine for music composers and sound designers.

    You still have your k2700 and do you still like it?

    A little/LOt cofusing! are the sound from a software/padS Or straight from he Kurzweil?. it feel the title of K2700 is only being used as a midi-control so is not the sound of the K2700 but just software.

      It come from the Kurzweil output. Its just a controller and I use it so people can get a better vision of what’s going on. I wish it was it’s on vst. Kurzweil would make history if they ever come out with a vst. They should have made kurzweil pc4 a vst and kept the Kurzweil k2700 the hardware like Roland did with the fantom and zenology pro.

      @@g-soul4771 - Sir, thank you for your reply, I have a question, have you tried the Yamaha CP88? to be honest I just purchased the K2700 as of right now and I'm waiting for delivery, I was wondering if you had to chose between a montage Yamaha and Kurzweil 2700? do you think there there much difference in quality? (I couldn't get the Yamaha montage because they are out stock, till Octover 2023) , thanks for reply !!!

      @@ruanof7 I had a Montage and I sold it to get the kurzweil. The Montage still sounds good. It was a hard choice but the kurzweil K2700 has this classic rock/blues feel too it. It also sounds good for cinematic sounds. They are both high quality but the Kurzweil just has this raw feel to it without sounding dated. I’m going to do another video on it soon. I will let you know once I do.

    Thanks for taking the time and sharing this demo, much appreciated!
    My biggest concern with this beast is its small screen, but I see that you using a MAC to navigate between the sounds, is this a software you get with the K2700? is it available for PC as well?

    • @g-soul4771
      @g-soul4771  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes it’s available for PC and it’s free. You get it from the Kurzweil website.

    Hey, does the editor software work inside of a DAW? If that's the case I will buy this thing. i AM TIRED OF vsts WITH ONLY SYNTH SOUNDS

    • @g-soul4771
      @g-soul4771  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it work. It is just as good if not better than a vst. I only really just like korg and Roland vsts. Diva is pretty good too.

    I have a mpc live 2. Im looking for a keyboard with great sound too pair it with.
    I was looking at the Roland O series, Modx+, Pc4. What would be your recommendation! I produced jazz hip hop r and b

    • @g-soul4771
      @g-soul4771  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say a modx+ for an all around soulful sound. Roland produces a good 90’s sound. and Kurzweil got it own flavor it could produce all types of genres but Yamahas, especially motifs were made for jazz and other instrumental type music.

    "Kurzweil was the first keyboard the to have real instrument sounds instead of all synth sounds. "
    Incorrect. Mellotron was and then Fairlight CMI.

    • @g-soul4771
      @g-soul4771  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s true. I guess when they say it on the documentaries they meant full workstations as we know of today.

    • @FluffyAnvil
      @FluffyAnvil ปีที่แล้ว

      Mellotron was not a digital keyboard.
      Fairlight CMI was a sampler that predates the K250 but it's hardly a keyboard.
      Kurzweil K250 was however the first keyboard with preprogrammed (realistic) sounds available right after power on.
