That thing is cool. You should make the impeller shafts longer. That way the falling water in the tubes can build speed and have more energy when the water hits the blades, turning the generator faster
It is a shame it appears that the dams are being knocked down but a new one is built and we watch along. Cute that the little dog uses the dam to cross.

I don't understand, what are the twin turbines powering, except for a tiny string of christmas lights? That seems like a whole lot of work to just power those lights. And the other things at the front of the sluice, are those motors to automatically open and shut the sluice gate? How do those work?

The generator bearings are under heavy load - they are not designed to hold the shaft with the impeller in a turbulent stream of water (especially axial movement, you need a thrust bearing or tapered roller bearings for axial load). Since the generator is not for a hydraulic turbine, but is taken arbitrarily from a landfill, then there are weak bearings, of course. I understand that the hydraulic turbine diagram shows us the placement of the generator on a single shaft with an impeller, but such a turbine is specially designed there. Bearing limit here is the holding of the generator rotor no more. Ideally, the generator should be moved aside. The structure - the shaft, the impeller, the powerful bearings must be assembled separately on the frame, and the generator must be connected with belts, gears, rubber rollers, a bicycle chain - to your taste. Just thoughts out loud.

I love your videos but to me it looks like your are not making a dam for a long time because you built the wall straight up which would not let it use the walls around it. This is for big dams but it is still a nice tip and to make your dam thicker at the bottom so it can help with the pressure. You can look at the hover dam or other major dams. Keep in mind this is just a suggestion. Your the best keep up with the content
Friend, what is this part that you connect each engine to? In the video, at minute 8:46 you connect the wires coming out of the motor to this piece. What is this piece? You turn the motor and the little red lights are lit. What is this little box? Another question, what are these motors? A hug from Brazil...
