  • #CanadiansinCostaRica #movingtoCostaRica #expatinterviews 'Canadians Move to Costa Rica Just in Time 🇨🇦 🛫 🇨🇷 6 Months In What Do They Think' Ricky and Lisa are from Canada. They moved from Canada to Uvita Costa Rica 6 months ago. Around the same time, Canada's Daddy, Trudeau, realized he was the anointed one. I digress. Anyway, we first met Ricky and Lisa when they responded to a job opportunity that we, Travel Costa Rica NOW, announced on video back in May - 'Business (Job) Opportunity in Costa Rica 💻 Work with Travel Costa Rica NOW' which can be found here- • Business (Job) Opportu... We were looking for folks interested in helping us with our new TH-cam Channel, Travel Costa Rica NOW Real Estate. But this video, 'Canadians Move to Costa Rica Just in Time 🇨🇦 🛫 🇨🇷 6 Months In What Do They Think' isn't about that. It's about Ricky and Lisa's story moving from Canada to Costa Rica. What made them think of Costa Rica. What was happening in their lives that prompted even thinking about living abroad. Did they research, do their homework? How it going here? Is the honeymoon over? What do they like and what don't they like about living in CR? They answer those and many other questions. I love that they are young because I know based on the emails I receive is that more and more young people are thinking about, Costa Rica. So Rickay and Lisa might just be you about a year ago. IF you're thinking that the rat race isn't a race you want to compete in and you're looking for options, check out this video, 'Canadians Move to Costa Rica Just in Time 🇨🇦 🛫 🇨🇷 6 Months In What Do They Think'
**It should be NOTED that Ricky and Lisa have no real estate experience, which is fine with us because we're not really trying to sell it. Travel Costa Rica NOW Real Estate site will have interviews with agents, lawyers, builders, expats who have bought or built in Costa Rica along with videos to help you make a decision whether Costa Rica is even right for you or not, let alone buying or building anything. Solid, truthful information.... but yes, we will have listings as well and will help to facilitate buyer with seller. Just FYI.
To recap, if you're thinking that the 'simple life' the 'pura vida' life is for you and you have Costa Rica in the back of your mind, then check out this video of our Canadian friends and now partners, Ricky and Lisa from Uvita.
If you're not sure what some of the most popular places in Costa Rica for Gringos to live, here's the short list, in no particular order. Central Valley (San Jose surrounding areas) such as Santa Ana, Atenas. Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Dominical, Uvita, Osa Penisula, Samara, Nosara, Tamarindo, Nuevo Arenal, San Ramon, Grecia, Nicoya Peninsula (Malpais and Montezuma) and there's even a couple gringos in La Fortuna. lol. This is a very short list, with a million places between.

Great insights!! Just in time for me as well... I am in Edmonton and plan to fly south in mid-late October. I think it will be Playa del Carmen first as I have an old co-worker there with his wife whom I would like to hang with for awhile. they also got out in Jan. and come from Calgary... small world. I expect to 'visit' CR for a border run in Feb-Apr. Hope to see some of you, maybe, for a tour or some further insights. Cheers.
