it wont replace it just like how ARMA cant replace battlefield/Call of duty. Theyre essentially catering to different audiences with some overlap between the two.
The fear..... man, you can feel it as if you're in an actual vehicle and one of the crews and you'd hate to be the one on the crosshairs of those tanks.
I think that's the realistic part. You are scared yet knows what you are doing at the same time. It's being a soldier does to you. You have fear so follow it so you survive but not letting taking over your body

Many veterans I know have told me the best way to cope with the fact you ended a person's life is to think of them as not a fellow human being, but to dehumanise them and seperate yourself from any empathy or connection you may have had with the victim so maybe it could be linking to that or I'm over analysing it
@@McC.444 you 100% are. alot of other vets especially in the u.s. army from the past 20 years in my experience know they are people they just think of them as bad men. Its similar but not the same thing.

I freaking LOVE the flashing zeros for the LRF. Meaning that the target is to close and there’s no need for adjustments. Just like real life. I wonder if the devs intent to add when your main sights are damage you’ll have to switch to the Auxiliary sights. Or the manual hand crank when the hydraulics are knocked out. Also, I don’t know if that soundtrack was added in or is the actual but it’s exactly what it needs to be. Not heavy rock. But the constant looming fear of the unseen enemy that would kill you in an instant if your not constantly searching for targets.
The Soundtrack featured is from BF3, by the way! though there is a track titled thunder run, the one featured in this video is called Brawl, and indeed fits the theme of the game/video much better.
The game actually does have the crew switch to the manual crank when the tank loses power. IDK about the auxiliary sights or if it's possible to lose hydraulics without losing the engine.

reminds me of an experience I had in world of tanks It turns out that every time I camped with a tank destroyer or in a normal battle with other tanks, there was always a fool who crossed paths, seeing perfectly well that I was aiming at an enemy and just at the moment that I fired To make matters worse, he was angry that I shot him and he thought that I did it on purpose

definetly giving first time playthrough of bf3s campaing nostalgia feels, when you really dont know what comes next, when your anticipation can be decieved so easily of course, this game is much more realistic in comparison, but the track featured is definetly a great choice Also hoping they find more VAs as dedicated as the current ones for the various nations represented, as im greatly intrigued by this games development!

I notice you often go for the turret even when the chassis is exposed. The turret is the most protected part of the t72 Instead, i reccomend going for the lower glacias or the side armor. The protection is much weaker there (even when angled). Successfully penetrating those areas pretty much gaurantees a one shot due to the ammo stowage.
Jup you buy the base game ones and you unlock everything if the decide to do DLC scenarios like Gulf war 1991 Scenario or maybe Soviet union vs China 1989 scenario then you would need to buy the scenario again but would unlock everything again from that scenario
I take that back. Not that useless when it was me playing the game! Depends a lot on positioning, but first trime I tried T-72 wave they ripped me to shreds in a matter of minutes! Other thing is when you flank around them, they go to designated spots and then just sit there ,)
The Ai had been updated since this video was put out, so you got a taste of the updated Ai as opposed to what this guy was against lol, assuming you were using the Patreon build If it's the free build then it depends on the scenario and whether they're already facing your direction, such as the T-72 one
Was there some reason why he was constantly aiming at the gun section around 1.40 up and possibly over 2.30? I thought that was usually made to be one of the thicker parts of the tank? I am no expert, which is why I be asking.
Actually mantlet is weaker than turret cheeks mainly (or at least i think so) because of weight. It needs to be kept as low as possible while giving adequate protection because stabiliser and motors that move the gun could just fail with heavier mantlet.
And we don't exactly have the full features of War Thunder on Ps4 and Xbox. Because we can't excess market place and can't use custom sounds and custom camo. That's too bad, as if war thunder wasn't in a bad state already.
Like man, console needs something like this, I want to be able to sit back and enjoy a realistic tank game instead of wasting my life away on war thunder.
Seeing this video made me turn off watthunder and play nothing instead of it. After ranting about it not being nowhere near to being realistic even in the realistic mode. Not even in the simulator mode. Yet the game keeps being called a sim with easier controls. Im fed up with alien physics unreliable mechanics. Buggy everything. And fighting at 10 meters with abrams constnatly.... And not being able to fight at a further mroe realistic range in a realistic gamemode of a sim....
This game can’t get more canned than a can of vegetables! I played the demo for months and everything runs the exact same place, time and movement. Nothing is random. Once you’ve played it there’s nothing to come back for. No exterior damage, Reactive plates, IR light, tracks etc nothing comes off. No penetration marks. What is hilarious is watching BMP and Bradley’s hurtling off ahead of you to their deaths before you catch up. Don’t hit the steel trees either, you can’t go through them - even a sapling spindly thing. Made for Co-Op and that’s about it. SP is terrible. Dumb AI. You can push an enemy tank blind side and it won’t even look for you, just rotates the barrel the same positions all the time. There’s no commander, no driver, no gunner. Just an auto-loader. It won’t engage while you are driving, you must do everything!
when the commander dies, the loaders voice becomes clearly emotionally distressed

Auxiliary sights are now a thing as of a few updates ago

"Nothing will penetrate it" is not true. Modern HEAT and APFSDS can melt through tank armor easily
