The only video on TH-cam that explains clearly and uses regular tools. Also you didn't make me feel like you need 20 years in carpentry to manage this project. You deserve an award, seriously! 👏😘

That truly is quite an incredible accomplishment to make your own shutters like that. I didn't know it was even possible, I thought they had to be done in a factory.

@johnkearns4790 it ain't an easy process. The recording and editing is an animal within itself let alone trying to describe the process. I actually thought of doing a diy but I don't have the patience and my end product would be taken down by youtube due to the number of "f" bombs I would be dropping. Hats of to this young lady .

I'd love to see what you could do if you did have some fancy tools. Operational ones of these cost a fortune and the fact you just knocked them up for under £50 without big fancy tools is very impressive.

I am FINALLY ready to do this and am SOOOOOO grateful I saw your video when I did and saved it. I'm really excited to construct these ESPECIALLY after getting estimates from professional installers! I don't know about anywhere else outside of the U S., but the prices are LUDICROUS!

Very impressed with how you managed this using sensible price materials from the uks best known diy store and basic tools. You must have a very creative mind to have figured it out. Well done you.

Well done. Very well explained and looks good. FYI, I would’ve had a bunch of holes in my hardwood flooring.

Well done! Would advise priming the wood to ensure the pine oils from the wood knots don't seep through.

Young lady what a brilliant video! I've been wanting shutters like these but couldn't afford them. You've shown me how to make them using basic tools and without specialist equipment.

You have made this look so simple. So well done. I'm a keen woodworker and I cringed a bit whilst you were drilling down with your laminate floor below. You must have the patience of a saint to complete all of these processes by hand. Again, well done. Quite inspirational.
