Again you surprise me and amaze me! He is one of our most misunderstood and under appreciated directors of our time. But his films they still manage to withstand the test of time. I also am pleased you chose his daughter’s favourite song. Bruce Wayne’s monologue from dawn of justice fits this video perfectly.
So happy to hear you liked it! 100% agree, you can watch Watchmen or 300 today and it looks like a movie that was just released in 2023, that's how well they age. It's unfortunate how much hate he gets but I'll always support his projects

Whilst I can’t say that I love a lot of Zacks story telling choices, (flashback to Superman Lasering unborn Kryptonian Fetus’s in man of steal) at least the choices made in scripts he gravitates towards directing. I would be an absolute clown to suggest that his command of aesthetic‘s and visual storytelling was anything less than sublime. Also this is a great edit that shows that off very well.

ooh, I had to go back to the scene you mentioned because I was sure the chambers with the fetusses were "empty". To me it still looks like they are empty, there's no red fluid or visible fetuse's in there like you see in the beginning of the movie but I know that's just an example and agree that the writing could be better sometimes, I can think of a few examples myself. No director is perfect though, I think he gets way too much hate

Regarding ZSJL PART 2 & 3, there's a 100% chance we don't get the love action version, but what if it gets animated? DC/WB have are FANTASTIC when it comes to making animated movies, plus these won't even interfere with James Gunn's vision for the DCU. I think it's the best alternative that actually has the potential to be real!
A perfect depiction of Snyder. Someone who creates beautiful stone sculptures of movies with precise detail that are ultimately hollow and empty inside and creates false emotion with epic licensed music.

honestly, no. David was pushed into turning 'evil' in the first two seasons. None of season 3 would have happened if it wasn't for the groups mass psychosis which the show itself makes sure to point out too. Sure, the things he did in season 3 were absolutely wrong and he was acting in a very selfish way but by his logic the timeline wouldn't matter once he changed the future. He wasn't a hero either, the show was very grey with most characters actually but I still see him as the victim of the story rather than the villain and I thought the ending of the show was the perfect reflection of that

I just am gonna come out and say it.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was not as bad as people make it out to be.
Yeah it has his problems.
But I stand by that statement.
hot take: I'd still rate it 5/5. I'm aware of some of it's issues too but I still enjoy it as much as I did when I first saw it in the theater. I was there 2016 when this movie flopped and I saw critics tear it apart before it even got released. A huge part of the general audience just went by whatever the critics said without a second thought, stuff like this still happens today because nobody forms their own opinion anymore. It was far from being as bad as people act like it is

Same here, I think it'll be a bit of a upgrade but I don't think Netflix was the right platform for Snyder sadly. Puttinc two movies out in such a short timeframe felt like too much of a rush and you can tell

Honestly, I don't like this song at all. But the edit is great! This is actually the first time I saw somebody makes a video about film director. Zack is actually very talanted. Not gonna lie, I think some of his movies a little bit dumb when it comes to story. But visiually, they are masterpieces. Too bad, we wont see his JL siquels.
So glad you still liked it! Yeah, the thing with Snyder is that he's a very visual story teller. I get how that doesn't work for some people but to me both Watchmen and ZSJL had the perfect balance of a good story with fantastic visuals. It's a shame that we most likely won't ever see him direct a DC movie again

The copyright disclaimer I use is always the same. A lot of editors use the same, it's just a way to kind of secure yourself so it falls under fair use.
That said, edits can still be taken down regardless of the copyright warning. TV shows are usually safe but with new movies I'd be careful and at least wait until digital release

Zack Snyder is an underrated and a legendary director but his best work will always be Watchmen for me. All of his other titles are entertaining and engaging but the vibe is just different and unmatched with Watchmen because it's so comic accurate, faithful and well made. I haven't watched Justice League (lack of interest after seeing Batman V Superman and reception of it honestly). But I love 300, Man Of Steel and his horror film take on Dawn Of The Dead, very spooky and a creepy zombie movie. The song is amazing as well it's the main one from Watchmen I think Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Such a beautiful melody. I watched another similar highlight done for Watchmen alone and it was so memorable and heartwarming.
Sorry for being critical and meticulous, but I just feel a bit of cringe with the new superheroes he's trying to represent (also too much overused noticeable fake CGI and chaos always going on in the plots). I'm sure Justice League is visually impressive, and I've heard they improved a lot of things in Zack's Snyder's edition but I don't know. It's just not my type of thing unfortunately. Much prefer the badass and awesome squad from Watchmen. His old style is much better in my opinion (writing, narrative, directing, visual effects and cinematography). I still think Watchmen was Snyder's masterpiece. MOS, ZSJL and 300 were fantastic too but Watchmen was on a whole other level that influenced and changed the entire superhero genre. Absolutely ahead of it's time. I know ZSJL is a long movie but give it a shot once or split it up into the chapters if you feel like it, this movie is really worth it. The CGI is a bit off at times because they had limited resources to finish it but overall it's not that noticeable once you get used to it's style, it still works imo
I honestly like zack snyder as director and cinemagrapher but not as writer and sure his toxic fans act like hes the best but people act like hes the worst director of all time especially after rebel moon. Even though his rebel moon movies sucked i like most of his movies and do believe hes overhated like i feel like even if rebel moon was actually good people would still hate it. I hope he makes good movies again.
I partially agree. I like Zack Snyder and I like Rebel Moon. But some (not all) Snyder fans are toxic and make the rest of us look bad.

Amado y Odiado por muchos , para algunos un visionario que lo hizo mal para otros un Genio incomprendido , pero en lo que a mi Respecta , Zack Snyder fue el Mejor director que pudo tener el DCEU para su comandar su Universo , es una Lastima que muchísimas malas decisiones tomadas por el Estudio impidieron la culminación de este Universo con Potencial , aunque Bueno tampoco considero a Zack Snyder como un dios , hasta hay ideas que el mismo director aseguró que quería implementar en el DCEU con lo cual no estaba nada de acuerdo como querer que todos los Dioses fueran Kryptonianos o que Lois Lane y Batman tuvieran una Aventura , en esto último tengo que ser Objetivo y decir que estas Ideas eran Horribles y Sin sentido
