Zack's work is rarely foolproof but I think the final edits have always done injustice to his ideas. As a director that's also responsibility but this is some major IP that was assigned to him and with so much competition from Marvel, oh it pains me to see such talent misrepresented and done dirty.

I just wish someone could have helped Zack execute his vision better and the execs didn't mess things up so much. There was a ton of potential and no one in this entire saga is faultless. Including us fans. But we can't change what has occurred. We have to, like Superman, accept the reality that we all murdered this franchise. But we can also be grateful and focus on the good parts.

The spirit of all these fictional characters and their legacies are represented so damn well in Zack’s vision. Snyder really knew what he was doing. This is what the naysayers can't see. Superman didn't start out perfect. Any character that starts out perfect & remain perfect later is boring. There has to be growth & how to grow is by overcoming different obstacles in every chapter of their lives. This Superman grows as a character. He learns & tests himself on how far can he do to live among humans. He's always challenged in every movie & when he overcomes it, it feels satisfying & we can feel his growth. Snyder showed that Superman has real emotions & feelings just like us ordinary people, because to be able to relatable to us & for us to look up to him, he has to experience the similar struggles like us. He's not acting like a cartoon character. He's as real as he gets. That's why I love this version. Like Jor-El said, "Keep testing your limits." Snyder's Batman is also realistic in terms of personality. He may be a senior in what he does & has lots of experience already, but even the best man can be wrong. Even the best man still has struggles within himself that he has to control. Even the best man can feel powerless sometime. Powerless doesn't mean physically weak. Powerless means that even though you can do whatever you're supposed to do, you realise that it's not enough because something even stronger is coming your way. This Batman is such an intimidating character without even trying to hard, yet he's still grounded & feels human. Naysayers only see them at the face value. Superman & Batman may be the most popular superheroes in the world, but doesn't mean they can't be relatable & be more than just fictional icons. Snyder made them relatable & feel real. If you see through them in MoS, BvS, & ZSJL, you'll see that they're basically just like us. They can be sad, confused, happy, angry, in love, depressed, or losing their ways.
